18.01.2022 Lunch today A client following a low carb eating plan for weight loss asked me for easy lunch recipes today. I've e-mailed off lots of recipes that I hope offer some inspo. so contemplating my own lunch today I knew the easy way out with bread wasn't going to cut it. 10 minutes later with the grill pan and what was in the fridge I've got a yummy lunch, and I'm proud of myself for not taking a short cut and eating something on toast (not that there's anything wrong with that if its good bread and good toppings, just that bread and my waistline are not friends!) . 18.01.2022 How’s your vitamin D level? Could be the difference between getting sick and not. Check out the study and graph at 1 minute mark showing the inverse relationship. As vitamin d levels drop over winter you are more susceptible to getting a cold. Must be why I always get through winter and just as I’m congratulating myself, I go and get a cold at the start of spring!

07.01.2022 Here is some good advice! Be sure to follow the link which has some excellent info about proper hand washing. Consider this - "Did you know that 30% of people DON’T wash their hands after going to the bathroom? EEEEUUUUWWW! And of those who do wash their hands, only about 50% do it RIGHT? Many are simply wetting their hands quickly, with or without soap. Statisticians who looked at how much proper handwashing could actually make a difference in spreading infectious disease c...alculate that: If 60% rather than 20% of air travelers maintained clean hands, it could slow down the spread of infections by almost 70% (1) SEVENTY PERCENT! Even just increasing the number of people with clean hands by 10% could decrease the rate of disease transmission by 24%! Handwashing REALLY is one of the best ways to prevent global pandemics!" There is also a great homemade hand sanitizer recipe too based on rubbing alcohol, aloe Vera and essential oils. So I was google-lng Keto fat bombs to make myself a treat, 'cause I'm back on the old low-carb diet bandwagon - so that I emerge from iso like a beautiful svelte butterfly... albeit with grey hair! Sammy decided she'd like to make some truffles too. She said to me "why is it with all these blogs you have to scroll and scroll and keep scrolling right down the page to find the. actual. recipe? 03.01.2022 A pet peeve of mine. A protein bar which has more carbs and fat than protein! Talk about a bum steer. Not even healthy - Highly processed and too many additives to try and make this thing stick together. Most of them don't even taste good. Don't eat this rubbish, go get some actual food!
