25.01.2022 Its Monday which means you guessed it, "question of the week" This week we asked the YHAF staff where they keep their tomato sauce....in the pantry or fridge. Malo kept us laughing saying in the winter its in the pantry and summer its in the fridge ... Pantry saucers were Pete, Jessie, Amy, Kelvin and Shianne. Fridge saucers were Anth, Bianca, Caitlyn and Tresea. So let us know where your sauce goes

Complete 3-4 rounds, resting for about 45sec between each round. ... 20x walking lunges 20x squats 20x glute bridges 20x froggy squats 20x calf raises OPTIONS 1. use dumbbells or a kb to add some resistance to the movements or if you have a booty band you could use that too. 2. Include a cardio drive way or block run or cardio movement like running on spot or jump squats or burpees between each set. Get moving this hump day and give this a go....

Key things to remember technique on those bent over and plank positions, make sure core is engaged and use that breath to facilitate the movement. 19.01.2022 A little bit about Terryn ....this mum of 3 whose youngest is only 4 & 1/2 months old said yes to Winter Warrior looking for a way to connect back to her, do something for herself and wanted to reclaim her body after the last pregnancy and birth. She is one determined woman who was a ray of sunshine in our Warrior Facebook group and was a constant inspiration for the other warriors. Her daily participation and community spirit was something we just couldnt not take into acc...ount when selecting our 2020 champion. Not only did she achieve amazing physical results but her emotional and mental changes were huge too. Heres what Terryn had to say about the 6 week challenge "Its been an amazing journey, its not been an easy one and there were some days that I really wanted to throw in the towel but I honestly believe that having this has kept my sanity. With 3 young kids at home with no physical support has been tough so I am really so blessed for having this. Massive thank you, you have all been so helpful I have learnt so so much with calories, protein, working out, rest days, foods, water, mental challenges, physical challenges it has just been the best experience. I have tried lots of diets/ fads without knowing the real reasons and right reasons for doing it. This time around Im well equipped with the right ways that will last a life time not just a short amount of time."

15.01.2022 Winter Warrior Spotlight Katrina Bocor 4.6kg ... I have had a few big achievements throughout the past 6 weeks. I am at my lowest body weight in a decade. My average resting heart rate has dropped to 49bpm. I took up running, initially as a 15 minute jog was on the strength program but then I kept wanting to run more and I eventually cut more than 10 minutes off my time for a 7.5km run and now average 5.30 min per km. Tracie Wright 4kg I loved the Community spirit, especially between Cranbourne & Bunyip. It was a way to meet others and even meet Bunyip members we hadnt already met at the gym. Im a huge advocate for Team culture and the encouragement via the Facebook group was amazing. Our Winter Lockdown Warrior was a 6 week journey that saw the crew transform not only their physical bodies but there overall wellbeing. They had constant 24/7 support in a FB group which provided daily motivation and was a chance for them to inspire each other. The crew were given weekly meal plans, strength and conditioning programs to complete and weekly zoom sessions to assist in their transformations. And the results really do speak for themselves.
