06.01.2022 UPDATE : Multiple events which were set to take place in the next couple of months in Central Australia have been postponed or cancelled: Parrtjima A Festival in Light, scheduled for 3-12 April 2020 in Alice Springs will be rescheduled to September 2020.... Wide Open Space Festival which was set down for May 2020 has been postponed to May 2021. ANZAC Day march is cancelled (no decision yet on the dawn service) The annual Aileron Bush Weekend has been cancelled NT Cattlemen's Association annual conference is cancelled Annual Geoscience Exploration Seminar also cancelled. The 2030 Tourism Conference in Alice Springs on 27 March 2020 will continue as planned. The Finke Desert Race Committee is due to meet tomorrow to discuss the future of this year's event. There is no information yet for events set down for later in the year, such as the Beanie Festival, the Henley on Todd Regatta or the Masters Games.
