14.01.2022 Education is the underpinning of personal growth. No, school isn’t the only source of education, and no, you may not use everything you learn at school later in life. However, what you can learn while at school is the skill of learning and many fundamental concepts which you may still indirectly use as a parent today. Now take a moment to sit back and think about these skills they are invaluable. You may have used these skills to enter university, or still currently use thes...e skills at work, or to manage your personal finances. Now this realisation is something I didn’t understand when I was at school. All I have is my parents to thank for giving me that little extra push until I understood what they meant by ‘you will be one of many that regrets not trying that little bit harder in school’. Now, you may be wondering why I am rambling on about all of this. It is because this is what inspired me to begin a tutoring business in the local area around 5 years ago. I don’t want your son or daughter to have this regret if it can be avoided by a little bit of extra help today. Currently, we have a team of many experienced tutors that have collectively helped 50+ clients get those passing grades. This has allowed for students to get back on track and graduate from high school or get that slightly higher mark they needed to get into a university/tafe course. The point being is that tutoring isn’t purely a job for me. I share the sense of accomplishment with each and every client as the hard work pays off, and students reach the goals they set out to achieve.
