17.01.2022 This is very disappointing, and quite unbelievable in 2021! I'm a little speechless to be honest. And reminds me that we have work to do in Australia around making sure all school education curriculums are appropriate and relevant and RESPECTFUL across all school types. It is, however, pleasing to see the Principal take actions such as writing to the parents, apologising, the teacher responsible stepping down while an investigation takes place, a review of the Christian studi...es program and those classes being co-ed from Semester 2. In a statement to the Herald, [Principal] Mr Lancaster said: Despite the best efforts to teach respect, healthy relationships, gender equality, consent and inclusivity, we don’t always get it right - and last week is a good example of how the very best intentions can go terribly wrong. 05.01.2022 Oh I love this! Allowing kids the space to show what they know, and then taking the time to teach them how to fit that information in response to test questions. Sometimes we forget to teach how to actually DO tests. ... Brilliant
