05.01.2022 So this morning I recieved THE email. Officially from tomorrow December 9th Marriage Celebrants can begin filling in Notice Of Intended Marriage forms for same sex couples. They can then legally marry anytime after one calendar month after signing their paperwork. The monitum that I'm forced to say in a legal and binding marriage has been changed from - a man and a woman to the exclusion of all others - to two people to the exclusion of all others. It's a beautiful time to be a Marriage Celebrant!!!
