25.01.2022 CHANGE IN OFFERED SERVICES Your Mobile Vet has always been extremely focused on the care and safety of our clients, our patients and ourselves. Due to the extreme safety concerns we are currently faced with we have had to make some difficult but necessary decisions regarding how we can continue to provide care and support to our community. Like so many others there is of course the weighty and relentless fear surrounding finances niggling, but we mustn’t let it hind...er our ability to make sound decisions when the health and safety of our fellow West Australians, our neighbours, our friends, our parents, and our precious and irreplaceable children is what is at stake. There is no amount of money or education that can reverse the loss of someone’s life. As such, YOUR MOBILE VET will be offering the following services to our clients: Video and phone consultations Delivery of needed medications Refill and delivery of medications Vital home visits will be provided with strict safety protocols in place *All non-essential services like annual health checks and annual vaccinations will be deferred pending risk assessment* Our policy surrounding sanitation and hygiene has always been strict with a systematic approach in which we utilize sanitation resources both efficiently as well as effectively. We will be maintaining this protocol upon delivering medications. Like the majority of the population at the moment, we are trying to find a balance and a way to make life flow with a little greater ease. We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time. For your added convenience bookings for video or phone consultations can be made via our Fb page. *Payment will be required at the end of video or phone session and prior to delivery of medication* As always, we thank you for your continued support. Be well and take care of yourselves and one another.

18.01.2022 We genuinely enjoy getting to know our clients just as much as our patients. We have been so fortunate in the time since starting Your Mobile Vet to have met so many truly wonderful people. Modestly speaking, we have even forged what we would say are some cherished friendships along the way. Soooo, what do you do when you learn a client of yours started a little hobby simply to pass the time and because she has fun doing it? Oh, AND that that hobby is painting portraits of... DOGS on garden pots? You ask to show some to other animal lovers of course! How fun are these?!

17.01.2022 We really are so fortunate to be able to do some of the things we have done and continue to do. Cant believe its been 2 years since we first got the privilege of meeting all our lovely Small Friends and making sure Jack and Bud are happy and healthy. We have enjoyed every bewildered look, every marvel filled grin, and every giggle of excitement and we look forward to more of those beautiful moments with our Small Friends.

17.01.2022 We hope everyone is staying safe and enjoying the weekend. To the the truck drivers delivering necessities, the police keeping us safe, the customer service workers taking our orders and calls, the aged care workers watching after our older family members, those monitoring travel checkpoints and making sure people are abiding by the rules, doctors and nurses who have been fighting a long physically and mentally exhausting battle day in and day out to keep people ALIVE! We th...ank you AND your families from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for fighting for us and thank you to your amazing families for sharing you and your super power with us. We need you! Thank you! Happy Easter, everybody!

12.01.2022 WERE BACK!! We had a wonderful time spent with our dear loved ones and are so grateful for every restful and memorable moment. Firstly, we are both excited and humbled to be able to say "THANK YOU" for helping us reach 1,800 likes!! What a neat thing to wake up to on the day we return to work. ... That said, were crazy for being excited to be back to work, right? Honestly though, if you had asked us three years ago what we thought "Your Mobile Vet" would be today there is no way we could have fathomed what it means to us now. Its our job. A job that we consider ourselves fortunate enough to get to do nearly every day for pets that have become more than just our patients and clients that feel more like family/friends. Basically, we missed you!! HUGE thank you to Sam and Gina for both their professionalism and their support to help keep "Your Mobile Vet" running while we were away as well as the care provided to those who needed it. Much love. xx

11.01.2022 Food for thought. Our business was founded and thrives on building strong, trusting, and personal relationships with our clients and patients. Its been about providing an option to people with medical conditions, elderly with varying mobility, or busy families in order for them to care for their pets. In order to be as safe as we can and remain mindful of the situation around us we have had to reschedule routine/elective procedures and consultations. The things that keep us... working and keep us who we are, Your Mobile Vet, are the very things we are restricted from doing. What things can wait in order to reduce the risk to yourselves and others? What things can wait in order to conserve precious gloves and masks and gowns? What can wait in order to potentially free up a ventilator so it may be lent to human hospitals in desperate need? For 6 days now I have been thinking of cause and effect and I keep circling back to Newtons Third Law of Motion - for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. We are all on this earth thus we are objects in motion. What one person does has the power to impact many! Stay safe and look after one another.

11.01.2022 We just adore these incursions. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=3631460250244080&id=566892493367553

10.01.2022 ** CARE AND SUPPORT ** In light of recent events the decision has been made to move the majority of our work to various contact free options. We are still trying to work out all the kinks in order to provide care and support to patients whilst remaining cautious so as to protect ourselves, our clients, and our immediate and extended community. ... Whilst it may be simple for us to limit or nearly eliminate human contact there are environmental factors that we must take into account. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and consideration during this time while we try and find our footing on this unfamiliar ground upon which we are now forced to survey. More information to follow. Please take care of yourselves and each other.

10.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW? ANZACs werent just humans. Dogs proved to be just as reliable as soldiers when it came to dangerous jobs such as running messages, often faster than the soldiers. Whether they were messengers, or being guards or mascots, or simply by providing companionship to the men in the trenches, dogs served many vital roles. They even had made special gas masks for the dogs in an attempt to protect them. Demonstrating once again (even in times of war) the depth of comp...anionship between dog and human. LEST WE FORGET See more

09.01.2022 Hope everyone enjoyed INTERNATIONAL DOG DAY! Here are a couple interesting albeit strange facts for you about our canine companions: 70% of people sign their dogs name on holiday cards... Studies show that patting a dog lowers blood pressure A dogs nose has a completely unique print like that of a human fingerprint Dogs can utilise more than 18 different muscles to manoeuvre their ears. Yawning isnt only contagious to humans as studies have shown that dogs respond with empathy yawns as well and are 4 times more likely to do so if its someone they know and last but not least... Research suggest that left to their own devices dogs tend to poop in alignment with the Earths magnetic field Youre welcome.

08.01.2022 ATTENTION PLEASE!! We seem to be struggling with reception the last 24 hours. Messages are coming through but the connection is very poor. ... So sorry to anyone who has tried to contact us. We are working on sorting the issue but have been told it may be the weather. Thank you all for your understanding.

08.01.2022 MEET Dr Sam and Nurse Gina! As a lot of you know we are taking some time off. First time we have taken more than a few days in nearly 3 years! Dont despair! Sam and Gina are both super great professionals and amazing with animals. We feel that if we can trust them with our business, so can you. ... Sam and his wife recently sold their veterinary clinic on the east coast to move back to WA. They are very much enjoying their adorable new addition ( of the human sort ). Dr Sam is totally Dr Terrences BFF and while they usually argue over who is most handsome I think you will agree they are both wonderful vets! Gina has been in the nurse game for nearly 15 years and used to be a lead nurse of a busy emergency clinic. Currently Gina is focusing her efforts and brilliance on rescue and rehabilitation of birds of prey and helping to get them fit for release back to the wild. She is pretty amazing to do this while raising a gorgeous young lad and baking up number two at the same time. Gina will be "manning" the phone ( and everything that goes with it ) while Sam will be available part time for home visits. I must say, we will NOT know what to do with ourselves!! We will be back and ready for work on the 7th of JULY!! xx

03.01.2022 RAIN RAIN GO AWAY We are back working as per normal this week and while it has been great to see the garden get a healthy dose of H2O it’s technically still summer and we want it back! We’re fairly certain Sizzle thinks water is a health hazard if used in any way other than oral hydration. ... Who else has dogs that find it ‘ruff’ when it rains?

02.01.2022 Did you know Attending and completing a litter house call for a vet is essentially like sending a hungry person to do the grocery shopping? A real mission leaving with nothing more than what you came for. ... Cant really complain when you start the day off with 10 healthy little (ok...not THAT little) pups though. All of which are well on their way to being someones mighty legend. Certainly beats grocery shopping, hungry or not!

02.01.2022 Always such a joy!!
