15.01.2022 Tonight a couple of dozen Your Rights At Work campaign co-ordinators will gather at restaurant in Melbourne to reminisce about the night they changed history five years ago. That's right - today is the fifth anniversary of the election of the Labor Government that got rid of the hated WorkChoices laws and restored fairness in our workplaces. We thought this flashback from 2007 of former ACTU President Sharan Burrow and Secretary Jeff Lawrence binning WorkChoices was appropria...te for the anniversary. Thanks to the many thousands of people who supported the Your Rights At Work campaign. But the battle is not over and we want your help as we fight for secure jobs and a better future for all Australians. The first thing we need you to do is "like" our new Facebook page at www.facebook.com/UnionsAustralia. And the second is to sign up today to support Secure Jobs. Better Future at www.securejobs.org.au

04.01.2022 Did you see the first episode of Devil's Dust on ABC 1 last night? It was compelling TV that provoked anger that James Hardie managed to get away with exposing people to asbestos for so long. Episode 2 is tonight.
