24.01.2022 I have personally avoided posting about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) up until now as I didnt want to add to the overwhelm. But I would like take a moment to shed some light on the subject and assure you that I will be following additional precautions. The Beauty Industry requires us (Beauty Therapists) to uphold high standards of Health, Safety and Hygiene. This has always been the case for my business. With the recent health alerts regarding COVID-19, I have taken the initia...tive to complete a Certificate of Acknowledgment in Infection Control Training - COVID-19 from the Department of Health. This is what I have learnt: - Corona Virus is only transferred via the eyes, nose and mouth after someone sneezes or coughs near you, or where droplets fall on a surface that you then touch - Its unlikely that these droplets will infect you if you wash your hands/or sterilise with hand sanitiser - The virus is only serious in 5% of confirmed cases, elderly being most at risk or if you have a compromised immune system If you are feeling well and have not been in direct contact with a person who has contracted this virus, then you are completely safe to see me! If you do display any symptoms being a dry cough, runny nose, sore throat, or have been traveling overseas, then for the safety of yourself, myself and my family, I kindly ask that you see a medical practitioner and reschedule your appointment as soon as possible. At present, myself and my family are symptom free. Extra precautions will be followed. I have added hand sanitizing spray to the reception area. Any surfaces that have been touched such as door handles, eftpos machines, etc will be wiped down. And as always making sure that my already high standard sterilization and hygiene protocols continue. If you would like to me to take extra precautions, I also have access to face masks. 04.01.2022 Your Satori is reopening this Saturday 16th May. I am only booking existing clients in at this stage! If youre a new client you are welcome to contact me and be added to the wait list. A few things to be aware of as we continue to follow the governments covid policies... ... If you are unwell, showing any signs of sickness, or have been in contact with someone with coronavirus, you cannot attend your appointment. I am hoping that you will be respectful of my need for as much notice as possible when it comes to rescheduling your appointment. Notify me as soon as you show any signs of sickness, so your appointment time can be offered to other people. You cannot bring other people along with you to your appointment. The only exclusion to this is if you child is having a treatment, or you are the carer of the person receiving a treatment. Please do not bring your children to your appointment! It is essential I stick to the governments guidelines in order to continue to run my business. There is a hand sanitizing station and hand washing facilities available. You must use these upon arrival. Your contact number and address must be up to date on your client file. This will be required when confirming your appointments. Additional safety precautions which were already in place prior to closure will continue; washing down any surfaces touched, face masks available for clients if you wish to use them, and other additional hygiene practices. I have the time in my schedule allocated to you and you only for your appointment. If you cancel last minute I don’t have sufficient time to fill your spot; clients miss out on an appointment opportunity and I’m left with a wasted gap. A MINIMUM of 24hrs notice is required, but the more notice you can provide the better. Last minute cancellations cripple small business’ so please respect this policy. I do my very best to run on time for appointments and I’m sure you can all attest to the fact I am generally ready for you to walk straight into your appointment and avoid making you wait. So please make sure you’re on time. Even being 5 min late can really push out my day.
