25.01.2022 Lisa Tyree has written a great chapter on how she works with resisted emotional patterns enabling poeple to shift through their "stuff" rapidly. Hannah Moore has contributed a great chapter on fine tuning your diet to meet your body's needs.

25.01.2022 Reference for Rob I edited this book through three iterations, so have an intimate knowledge of its contents. Being based on the physical healing modality of ortho-bionomy, it is a guide for caring for your body and relieving pain. However, it is a lot more than that. Rob describes in detail how the same principles and processes can be applied to relieve psychological pain. Indeed, you can make your world a better place by adopting Rob’s philosophy: his way of looking at ever...ything. I also happen to be Rob’s father, and am immensely proud of him. Having worked with him on his book, I also consider him my teacher. You cannot do better than to follow me (not in being his father that position is taken but in being his student. Dr Bob Rich has a PhD in psychology, and has retired from decades of a psychotherapeutic practice. He is the author of 18 books, the latest being From Depression to Contentment: A self-therapy guide.

22.01.2022 The body doesn’t have an organ called the immune system. The human body is an immune system. A system composed of viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites & a few h...uman elements too. The last decade has uncovered discoveries of the vast universe we call the microbiome. Two paradigm shifting conclusions have been ascertained from thousands of research studies: Neither human immunity or the human brain work without the interaction of millions of species of tiny organisms that inhabit every niche of the human body. 19.01.2022 During the process of writing Exploring your intelligent body I kept coming across things that interested me but didn't really fit into the book. One of those was the difference between the internal sense of safety, which if you have it, creates resilience to stress. If you don't have it then the world seems like a dangerous place and you are already in your stress response. If this is the case then you are more likely to choose a mate who creates safety for you. This means y...ou are more likely to be in a co-dependent relationship or put up with being treated badly because leaving the relationship destabilises you whole sense of safety. I'm currently in the process of researching different aspects of this idea and came across some interesting things such as that osteoblasts - the molecules that lay down calcium on our bones have oxytocin receptors and when there is more oxytocin in the system the is more bone deposited. The osteoclasts that clean off the calcium also have oxytocin receptors and are inhibited by oxytocin. So love your bones and see if that increases your bone density. See more

Curiosity brings us into the present moment and recruits the brain to pay attention to details that you may not notice normally. Try this. Look at the back of your hand and get really curious about all the small details. Notice how interesting your hand is, the lines, the skin variations, the shadows and variations in the light.... 09.01.2022 This weekend I attended a course run by Lisa Tyree & Lois Rowley on travelling. This is the form of emotional release work that Lisa wrote about in chapter 7 of Exploring your intelligent body. The course was absolutely amazing the shifts in myself and others were swift and mind blowing. 03.01.2022 One of the things i find valuable is being able to have my own experience using a self-exploration approach. If you read pyschological articles they view behaviour from the outside and discuss a theory as to why a person would behave in a certain way. This to me is of limited value. By exploring how you behave especially when you have reacted to something someone else has said or done, you can access resisted emotional states that are effecting your life (thats why you react).... The last chapter of exploring your intelligent body contains tools to make this exploration easier and the two chapters on integrating resisted emotions give you a number of ways to work with things on this level without catharsis or spending a long time feeling crap. The more you free yourself from your resisted emotional stuff the freer and calmer you become. Inner peace comes from letting stuff go, not from resistance and control :-) See more
