14.01.2022 For some reason, women find it so hard to say positive things about themselves. As a beauty therapist I hear it all. I hear things like, ‘I’ve lost 3kg, but I have a long way to go’, or ‘I really want to buy this dress but I know my legs will look too fat in them’. But yet we are so quick to lift others up... My reminder to all you beautiful, incredible, amazing women out there is this... Speak to yourself as you would to your daughter, sister or friend. There are no rules on... what your body ‘should’ look like, how clothes are meant to fit, what body shape and weight is the right size. Your body has taken you through life so far. For some, it has given you little humans, for others it has carried backpacks around Europe, or pushed through 13 hours shifts on your feet. Be proud of what your body and what it has done for you. Love your body like you would encourage others to love their body. Love yourself like you love your partner. Be kind to yourself as you would be kind to your best friend.
