17.01.2022 One thing I will say about the food on Sea Princess is that it is excellent. Considering they are feeding 2000 people over 6 venues. Here is my dinner from last... night - thanks Wally Cowin for taking the pictures. Entree was a prawn cocktail, very old school, main course was an amazing rack of lamb with veges and dessert was bomb alaska. If you go hungry it is your own fault. See more

16.01.2022 I am so excited (yes I am easily pleased) Qatar Airlines have just annouced that they will be operating a regular scheduled service from Brisbane direct to their homport and hub Doha. This will offer easy connections to most destinations on their network. Operating up to four times a week under the current schedule. This is expected to grow as covid-19 restrictions are eased and passenger traffic increases. As a full member of the One world Alliance guests can earn Qantas frequent flyer points on these flights.

07.01.2022 Good morning all. We are now somewhere in the middle of the Tasman Sea. The sea has calmed down and we are cruising at 17knots and about another 1000km to New Zealand. Last night had dinner in the steakhouse and it was really one of the nicest steaks I have eaten in ages. Will touch base again later.

This beautiful plane was previousily owned by the Dutch government for the exclusive use of the Dutch Royal Family. Configured with 12 business class seats in the main cabin and 12 premium economy seats in the smaller rear cabin this an amazing experience.
