24.01.2022 This is the single best study habit I've ever implemented! It makes you infinitely more motivated when you know you're only devoting 1 or 2 hours to your work and then you're onto the next, opposed to trying to sit down and smash your assignment out in a day and feeling so much dread and hesitation towards it! Also, coming to your assignment with fresh eyes each day is helpful for you to critically analyse the topic better, or see it from other perspectives/see what you are m...issing. All it means is you need to plan out in your calendar a reasonable amount of time to start your assignments so that you are rarely, if ever, working on them for more than 2 hours a day. For smaller assignments, starting 2 weeks ahead will usually work, whereas for bigger assignments you may need to give yourself a month . . . . . #studyhack #studytip #timemanagement #unimelb #study #studying #studymotivation #uni #university #college #unistudy #tutor #tutoring #unitutor #unitutoring #unihelp #essayhelp #essaysupport #editing #editingservice #uq #uqlife

24.01.2022 Study smarter not harder to avoid burnout end of semester One way to do this Set up a study schedule! So you know you have 3 essays due right around the same time, how do you handle this monstrous load? Firstly, start early! Give yourself plenty of time (usually around 4 weeks is good), and then write out a quick, simple schedule at the start of each morning, blocking off time for the assessment you will tackle that day.... Instead of trying to work on all 3 each day, it can be helpful to focus on one essay per day. This allows you to keep the same mindset throughout each study session, so you don’t break your focus or ‘flow’ by jumping around to different topics. Also, it can be helpful to divide your time each morning to make room for breaks and feel more motivated by breaking your work into smaller, more manageable chunks. For example you could write a little schedule which read: 8-9am: find 2 resources for anthropology assignment (take notes) 9-9.20am: take a break (have breakfast) 9.20am-10.20am: write out my introduction (a crappy first draft will suffice as long as I get something down on the page!) 10.20-10.40am: break (go for a walk) 10.40am-11.40am: find another 2 sources for anth. Finished! So you’ve blocked off just a little over 3.5hours to do all your study that day and your done by lunch. If you work like this consistently (efficiently, not labouring over your paper and trying to get it finished in a day), you will produce much more quality work. Also, you don’t have to abide strictly to the schedule minute by minute, it can just work as a rough guide, but still try and get that amount of work done within the 3.5hours allotted. . . . . . #studyhack #studyscheudle #study #studyadvice #studying #tutoring #tutor #uni #university #unitutor #essayhelp #essay #assignment #uniassignment #timemanagement #bachelordegree #humanities #anthropology #internationalrelations #communications

23.01.2022 What book have you read from Rory's book list? Personally, her love of the Russians was the only reason I picked up Anna Karenina, but I'm so glad I did! #rorygilmore #rory #gilmoregirls #reading #tolstoy #annakarenina #studying #study #tutor #tutoring #icantihavetostudy #icon #iconic #studyicon #studyinspo #studyinspiration

06.01.2022 A little study inspo for your Thursday morning. The best motivation to study is intrinsic motivation, that is studying for the sake of learning and bettering yourself, not for some external reward #motivation #intrinsicmotivation #study #studyquote #studymotivation #study #quote #motivationalquote #tutoring #unitutoring #uni #university #unilife #unlyf #unimelb #rmit #uq
