21.01.2022 Vintage 1800’s piano salvaged from bulldozers at yet another demo site. Top left intricate workings of piano skeleton which form the mechanical moving parts which drive the hammers. Skeletor now a cutlery holder in my kitchen! Gabriel’s Harp formed from cast iron to house the stretched coiled wires to which the harmers strike. Beautifully adorned with gold leaf on a European hard wood boxing. Soon to become a coffee table with glass top. Never forget wall piece Millions of keys possibly produce from the million elephants lost of our magnificent African elephants to produce piano keys played by the wealthy and ruthless European settlers that devastated many of our wild animals. Never forget sound wave never again.
