Good luck to all standing Current Councilors that are re-contesting in their respective wards and to all new and candidates running again. If elected to council in October I will always put bendigo and it's people first and I will make sure your voices are always heard.... 24.01.2022 Today I will be attending Federal Parliament - Virtual day speaking with senators and MPs as part of the Regional Leadership Initiative, helping community leaders be better and understand regional issues better. I hope to ask some key questions about representing communities at the local government level and learn more about how to work better with Federal and State MPs and how I can represent the Bendigo Community Better.

23.01.2022 Another local radio station, seeking insights and thoughts on the Bendigo Mall, people in the community might see it as DEAD or a write off but small changes could fix it in the short term to at least see it with some activity in it. One of my priorities is trying to at least get some kind of hub whether it be food or something else, I'm not thinking of spending rate payers money which we all know alot has gone into it already but more about changing the dynamic from retail t...o something different. There is some good ideas about markets, and other features..What are your thoughts on this issue. Let me know by completing my mall survey or fill out the form on my website to let me know your thoughts. Your voice is important as a community and I want to take your voice to council I am your voice for a better bendigo Authorised by Nathan Rogers 3 View Street kangaroo Flat

22.01.2022 The COGB is developing a strategy for affordable housing in Bendigo, here is a chance to have your say.

22.01.2022 It appears that there will be quite some large Hotel developments happening in the CBD, there is the 6 story complex being built in the mall, and this large facilitiy in Mollison Street. This places an emphasis back on reinvigorating the CBD with better parking and shops open. We all know this pandemic has had a massive effect on lives and businesses But I think it's time to help them get back on their feet, with better support and better concessions and help them to get bac...k to business, in October it's time for change. Vote 1 - Nathan Rogers your independent candidate to be your voice for a better bendigo Authorised by Nathan Rogers 3 View Street kangaroo Flat

21.01.2022 The official ballot draw for Lockwood Ward in the 2020 City of Greater Bendigo Council Elections. I'm near the bottom which some say can be a disadvantage but being 7th isn't all that bad, just ask a western bulldogs supporter they won a flag from that position in 2016. I know a council election isn't a premiership but where you are on the ballot should not be a negative thing. ... I promise if elected to always be your voice and always vote for the people of bendigo and Vote for what's right. VOTE 1 NATHAN ROGERS LOCKWOOD WARD CANDIDATE YOUR VOICE FOR A BETTER BENDIGO Authorised by Nathan Rogers View Street Kangafoo Flat.

17.01.2022 If you are aspiring to be a better community leader and are looking for a hands on program that looks at real issues and concepts about dealing with issues in the community then the LEAD Loddon Murray Community Leadership Program is the one for you, Jude, leah and the team do a fantastic job. I am currently a participant and have made lots of friends and built a network of support for leadership going forward, there is also a few past and present participants standing for Co...uncil in a few different local government elections in 2020. And it's definitely something I would advocate for more if not continued support so that they can continue there great work helping create future leaders in the community. Make your leadership count and apply today.

12.01.2022 So it begins, first batch of flyers have arrived, and instead of wasting paper with a blank reverse side, or maybe you won't like seeing my face after a while, so why not turn over and find a 2021 calender on the back it's A5 size do can fit into a wallet or purse or on the fridge maybe.

12.01.2022 In this Month's Edition of the Bendigo Monthly you will find me, and a more detailed story of my community involvement form the past 16 years. 09.01.2022 ****Trigger Warning ***** Saturday February 7th 2009, was an emotional day for Bendigo on this this day a fire started in Maiden Gully shortly after 4pm and spread to the neighbouring suburbs of California Gully, Long Gully, West Bendigo, Ironbark and parts of Eaglehawk Fifty-eight homes were lost in the Black Saturday bushfires in Bendigo. A total of 341 hectares of land were consumed by fire and sadly one life was lost on this day. ... One of the most significant fires in this town and one of the biggest I had seen and been a part of in my time as a volunteer fire fighter. If elected to council I want to work towards a better model of preparedness and recovery including better community response to emergencies and disasters including animals and wildlife. A better prepared community will recover better and more quickly, community lead teams and knowledge will be vital. VOTE 1 NATHAN ROGERS LOCKWOOD WARD CANDIDATE YOUR VOICE FOR A BETTER BENDIGO Authorised by Nathan Rogers View Street Kangaroo Flat.

09.01.2022 A brief walk along the bendigo creek trail at lunch time enjoying the sun, just like these two who wanted a chat as they left the water and walked up the bank to say hello. There is alot of great paths and tracks in greater bendigo and it's one feature everyone should enjoy.

08.01.2022 *****BLAST FROM THE PAST SERIES***** I took part in the CFA youth program in years 9+10 at Eaglehawk Secondary College, in 2000 I joined the Eaglehawk Fire Brigade as a junior and then went onto become a Firefighter. Where I volunteered until 2016, in this time as an active member I attended large fires in Sydney 2001, North East Victoria in 2003 and 2005, the Grampians in 2006, and had an involvement in the devistating 2009 Black Saturday bushfires in Bendigo that sadly clai...med one life. I was able to also during this time hold positions of secretary and training coordinating and did many courses and attended many other local incidents (approx 750 maybe more). I joined the CFA to help my community and to help protect lives and properties and keep my Communities Safe. This is also why I am standing for election, as I would like the opportunity to continue to keep my community safe, through development of more local and dedicated resilience and response to disasters that will include animals and wildlife. If elected as a Councilor, I will Also make sure as part of my term that local Emergency Services like the CFA, SES and other Volunteer Services are supported and kept safe so they can continue to keep you safe, in line with my priority of Improving Community Safety in the City of Greater Bendigo. This October Vote 1 Nathan Rogers, Lockwood Ward, your voice for a better bendigo. Authorised by Nathan Rogers, View Street kangaroo Flat

08.01.2022 ***BLAST FROM THE PAST SERIES*** If you have viewed my website and my about me/background you will see, that for along now I've been a part of many different clubs and groups from a young age. Here is a look back @2006 when I was awarded the Goal Umpire of the Year, I also umpired the Senior Grand Final that year with the Bendigo Umpires Association.... This is just one of many highlights over the last 20 years. Stay tuned for more over the next few weeks If elected in October I will work with all types of groups and clubs to establish better support services to help them help the community They serve Authorised by N.Rogers 3 View Street Kangaroo Flat

07.01.2022 Being a leader in the Community means advocating for various causes and important issues, I have taken part in this annual event in 2015/2016 as a firefighter and raised $2500 for cancer and childrens health. Due to covid 19 it's become virtual like many other things and is open to all communiry members nor just emergency services. I'm aiming for 1000 steps in 30 days and $1000 for mental health. ... Just another way to show I care about community and important issues. If elected in October I will always put bendigo and it's people first as well as making sure all community issues are brought to council for consideration. Vote 1 Nathan Rogers, Lockwood Ward, Your voice for a better bendigo. Authorised by Nathan Rogers 3 View Street Kangaroo Flat.
