As announced by the Government last night, there have been further restrictions put in place that will affect the wedding industry. Weddings are now only permitted for 5 persons. The marrying couple, the Celebrant or Priest and 2 witnesses. Considering what is going on in the rest of the world, this was only to be expected....Continue reading

08.01.2022 We recently had a query as to whether we need a Liquor Licence for consumption of Alcohol at The Wedding Shed , Kookaburra Hideaway. We already knew the answer, but just as well to check in case of any changes. As confirmed by the NSW Liquor Licencing and Gaming Board, we do not need to have a Liquor Licence because we don't actually sell alcohol... ... The great news is that we are a BYO Alcohol venue and we do not charge corkage or any fee associated with your alcohol. So this will help keep the cost of your wedding down :) However alcohol can only be served by RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) trained staff and we strictly adhere to RSA standards to keep everyone safe.
