23.01.2022 Thank you all so much for your kind words it is true ALL community classes are suspended for now until May 2020 at this stage but potentially a little longer. Katrina and I know how much you love our classes and want to support us - the feeling is so very mutual. But safety is paramount and we all want to be dancing, laughing, singing together again soon when its safe to do so. This Saturday is our 1st year anniversary of You Should Be Dancing and its all our anniversary...! Although this is not the lead up week to celebrate anyone could have expected, we will be okay because of you all .. we will be dancing together til we are 100+!! May I share a very heartfelt gift which is the best anniversary present we could receive and the heartbeat of why Katrina and I created the business together - to create classes that bring happiness, joy, friendships, a feeling of purpose and wellbeing - so stay healthy, keep in touch, we all have a very important purpose .. to be dancing again soon in the amazing community of friends we have created together

23.01.2022 Hooray !! Looks like we could be restarting dancing soon . We need to been notified by our venue owners of their reopening dates and how many people we are allowed to attend a class. 19.01.2022 If you think you dont have a Centrelink Customer Reference Number - think again - I have to share my experience this morning as I had no clue I do actually have a CentreLink CRN created 18 years ago thats still active !! Ive just been on hold for 2.5hours (dont worry the hold music is lovely and I enjoyed it over my speaker while having breakfast) and had a wonderful call centre person who asked a few quick questions and the crunch is if in your entire life you have ever... received any one of these below as an example of a payment from the government: - childcare benefit - maternity allowance - family tax benefit You do have a Centrelink Customer Reference Number, I had no idea I had one. Im thinking Ive never been on any welfare because Ive always worked but the above is welfare and in my case the benefits were associated with having kids (remember for example baby bonus years ago thats welfare) you learn something every day especially in a crisis So take a moment to breathe, you may already have a CRN especially if you have kids regardless of their ages - my eldest is about to turn 18! So go hunt out your tax files from when your kids were little and there will be a CRN on your paperwork, maybe check with your account if they have done your tax returns for years its worth a quick call to ask the question and you may just find you have a CRN number. Then your all set to log into your MyGov > Centrelink etc. as advised by officials. Please be safe, save lives and try this first before you consider risking national queuing at CentreLink locations. I just felt I needed to share and please do pass this along. Whatever we can do to help each other. Stay strong everyone, breathe, this will pass and we will embrace the new normal together cos we are awesome!!

Yes we have free class videos online to keep you dancing to what you love, get moving and build up your groove again as we inch closer to restrictions being relaxed and classes restarting. 16.01.2022 Community is what our little business is all about, all our participants mean the world to us and both Katrina and myself cant express how important each and every one of you are to us. Thats why we know these uncertain times due to COVID-19 are challenging and very surreal, but we need to take a moment and do what we dont want to but it is for the greater good. We all need to think about those that surround us, our family, friends and more, so although we as a company a...re well within government guidelines, personally everyones health and well-being is our total priority. We know you all want us to all keep on dancing, but tomorrows class at 10:30-11:30am at Manly Seniors Centre, Pittwater rd, Manly - we will be our last LIVE class until further notice .. yes I say LIVE because we wont see you face to face from tomorrow, but we cant have you not dancing or keeping active in body and mind, so we will make available some of your favorite fun routines and music for you to dance around the house to and keep on grooving until we all gather back in class again. 11.01.2022 Hi Wonderful Dancers, I've just checked in with the SES and due to the extensive flooding on the northern beaches and Manly specifically, they have advised with the weekend's unprecendented rain and flooding on the northern beaches, it is unsafe travelling to and from Manly tomorrow. Tomorrow's forecast is continued rain and a possible storm tomorrow afternoon. Roads all along the northern beaches have been flooded today and some since Friday. In particular Eurobin Avenue ...near Harris Farm has been subject to significant flooding. In addition there is an extra high tide expected at 10.00am tomorrow. As much as I want to dance with you all, those planning to come to tomorrow's (Monday's) Manly class your safety is more important so it is cancelled. Thursday's class is on unless I advise otherwise later in the week. So please dance in your kitchen, lounge-room or as I plan to do ... while vacuuming and I'll see you Thursday and we shall dance again next Monday Please don't hesitate to call and don't hesitate to spread the word - xx Sally FYI here's the bottom of my road and the narrabeen/warriewood area at the moment.
