19.01.2022 Welcome Mutsa Murenje to the Youth Insearch team! Mutsa has experience supporting and working with young people, and has moved to the Chinchilla and Tara area as part of the Place Based Model to support young people who are experiencing adversity in their lives. This partnership is with Chinchilla State High School and Tara Shire State College, funded by Tim Fairfax Family Foundation and Tenix Foundation.... We look forward to working with Mutsa in achieving positive outcomes for the young people of Chinchilla, Tara, and the local community. 18.01.2022 From everyone at Youth Insearch, we hope that everyone has a chance to connect with family and friends as we head into the holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from us all to you, and we are so excited about what we have planned for next year. Take care, be safe, and we hope to see you when we're back on 18 January 2021.... Pictured is the team together this week taking part in a workshop for Blue Sky Dreaming to explore what Youth Insearch could be if the sky was the limit... some great ideas were formed, and we cannot wait for 2021 when we can bring some of them to life.

17.01.2022 This is Me :: Courtney We are proud to share the courageous story of Courtney, a young Indigenous woman from regional NSW. When Courtney was little, she and her brother were removed from their home by DOCS due to the violence in the home at the hands of their mother's partner. Courtney entered the Youth Insearch program in 2014 and was able to rebuild her life and get the specialised care she needed to address her trauma. Today Courtney is a Youth Insearch Leader and volun...teers her time to help other vulnerable young people, just like her, to get the support they need. 11.01.2022 If 2020 taught us anything it is, anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Congratulations and a huge high five goes to all our Trainee Leaders who have completed all three stages of Leaders Training virtually, with the final sessions finishing this week. 85 hours over a total of 10 days in 3 stages... 21 dedicated Trainee Leaders Through technology and internet issues, tropical storms and power outages, distractions, situations and illness, their commitment is a testament to the value they see in Youth Insearch and the value they bring as future Leaders. Well done and thank you to our 2020 Trainee Leaders, Team, and presenters - we are in awe of your passion and perseverance
