18.01.2022 PCYC Wagga Wagga recently held a Helmet Exchange Day together with our friends from Riverina Police District and NSW Roads. The team engaged with a great group of young people at the local skate park in Kooringal, running an information session focussing on bicycle safety and awareness. 19 helmets supplied by NSW Roads were exchanged to the budding cyclists. These helmets were designed by one of NSW Roads' Aboriginal staff members, Mark Hartwigin, adding some flare to the safety gear.

07.01.2022 Another successful Operation Redirect deployment was run by the PCYC Mt Druitt crew on Wednesday (27 January 2021). Shout out to our friends from Mount Druitt Police Area Command who lent a hand, especially their Multicultural Community Liaison Officer. Thank you also to the awesome team from Westfield Mt Druitt for their hospitality and providing us with a great space to work from. It was great to have such a positive engagement with the local community! We look forward to returning to the centre again real soon.
