12.01.2022 This is Rebekah Sellars our other 2020 Young Citizen of the Year. Here is what she said it means to give back to the community: Giving back to my community means being aware of what the needs are in my neighbourhood and using whatever I have in hand (skills, gifts and opportunities) to help make it a better place. For me it’s focusing on supporting the local young people so that they in turn become thriving leaders and citizens of Playford.... Rebekah plays a pivotal role in the community volunteering her time to facilitate the Northern Communities of Hope Youth. If you know someone like Rebekah, please nominate them for an Australia Day Award 2021 today. Nominations close Friday 20 November. Nominate now: http://www.playford.sa.gov.au/awards
