25.01.2022 Four years ago my company was just an idea in my head, fast forward to now and I have 8 staff and 30 stockists nationwide, a hairline collaboration in the USA and in our second year the business grew 150% - milestones I'm extremely proud of! If I can be honest with you, its tough being a working mum and juggling my crazy workload, it literally takes a village to help me get through it. Sometimes there's no such thing as work life balance ...for many of us who want both and #mumguilt is always superseding most emotions on a day to day. However, the silver lining is - It CAN be done. No bleach was need, we just custom toned her extensions once we installed so can blend. Why do we colour with extension when they are in your head? ... Following ten years of working in retail and studying fashion design, Ben designed for national fashion houses, eventually launching his own label an...d retail store. In addition to showcasing his debut collection at Sydney Fashion Week, Ben made a name for himself dressing international and Australian celebrities. Ben's skills naturally evolved to include visual merchandising, editorial and campaign styling, event management and content creation for big retail precincts leading to his role as Creative Director of his own marketing company based in Perth. Feeling so lucky Ben chose to be a part of our growing brand and having the right team to help fulfil this little dream of mine, turning business ideas into real life opportunities. 11.01.2022 ? This was such an important journey for me when I was choosing a supplier for my extensions. Have you heard of Russian, European or Slavic Hair? Did you know that is just clever marketing to suck in the consumers. I have worked with and tried every single one of the above and even bought into the hype at one time, but believe me it isn't all true.... The main global source for imported human hair is India + China. I chose the latter! Our hair is collected from younger females between 18 to 50 years old meaning it is still raw, young and much finer. Each bundle is unprocessed and still intact from the one donor. What’s the difference between young and older hair? Younger hair is filled with more nutrients while the older hair is depleted in health. Selecting younger hair is what helps keep it soft and longer lasting. It makes sense, right? Coarser hair texture doesn’t always blend as well with finer hair textures and retains much more moisture and ain’t nobody got time to blow dry that! This is what makes our hair so unique and why it plays a huge part as to why our hair is so silky soft + dries much faster.
