10.01.2022 Is it normal for children to have migraines? Unfortunately, migraine is very common in children. It's been reported in kids as young as 18 months old. About 10% of school-age children suffer from migraine, and up to 28% of adolescents between 15-19 years are affected by it. Half of all migraine sufferers have their first attack before the age of 12, which I did. 1 type of the migraines I get are hereditary. My daughter-in-law also gets migraines. ... Now i'm hoping and praying that my granddaughters don't get them. It would be heartbreaking to see them in the kind of pain they would be suffering. Migraine is an inherited episodic brain disease. It's a serious problem that doesn't shorten life but it RUINS it. This is why I am doing this fundraiser.
