Children are learning about patience, resilience, and family connection. They have practised sharing and compromising with their siblings, managing a mixture of family emotions, and working through a new home based routine where it feels like everything has been turned upside down. The skills that your little one is learning during lockdown are more important than letters, numbers, and writing their name. They're developing life skills which us big adults could never have been prepared for. So as you worry about your child's school readiness, give yourself a pat on the back because you have supported your child through a storm that will prepare them for many years ahead. School readiness next year has been shaped by compassion and resilience. For that we should all feel proud. Letters and numbers can be learnt in time. Connection with our loved ones lasts forever. You have done an amazing job. No child has fallen behind. They have only developed new skills that we should all feel proud of.

Water quality testing has confirmed that the water supply in the network is safe to drink. ...Please see latest post https://www.facebook.com/YVWater/posts/3564687696915692 --------------- Boil Water Advice: Our potential water quality issue is affecting the suburbs listed below. The water comes from closed catchments and has been mixed with disinfected water so the likelihood of any illness being caused is low. But we believe it is better to be safe than sorry. We are working with Melbourne Water and DHHS and will confirm when the boiled water notice is withdrawn. If you have already drunk the water, there is a low risk of potential gastro type of illness. People should contact their GP if this occurs.
