19.01.2022 YARRAVILLE FAMILIES Part 3 Here we have mother and son Eagles, Karen + Leo.... Karen is our most senior senior player - at the age of 58, she runs rings around some half her age and is living proof that anyone can play footy! With her wicked sense of humour and ridiculous amounts of energy, she’s affectionately known as Krazy Karen ‘round these parts. Leo is way more subdued than his mum and is a pretty good footballer - having played in two premierships and represented YSE in Interleague three times since becoming a lil’ Eagle way back in U9’s. Now a solid full-backman and ruckman in our U18.5 squad, Leo is hoping for a run with our seniors sometime this season. These two don’t come unawarded either, with Leo winning the Best Clubman award in U13’s and Karen winning the President’s award in 2019. You’re both assets to the club and we’re proud to call you Eagles!
