Picture 1 shows how the sternum, the collarbone, the shoulder blade and the arm all connect to form the shoulder complex ... Picture 2 shows the muscles of the rotator cuff that all originate on the shoulder blade and then insert into the top of the arm Picture 3 then shows how the shoulder blade holds the arm in place with the labrum sitting on the outside of the shoulder blade face Over the next few weeks we will be focusing on injuries to the shoulder so keep your eyes peeled for more!
