25.01.2022 Next Saturday we’ll be exploring Samkhya Philosophy, ancient and modern breathing techniques for mental and physical vitality, and simple meditation techniques to help you find that tranquil and calm space within. Samkhya philosophy is the knowledge of the relationship with consciousness and matter. It helps us to understand the relationship with the witness within all of us and mind, feelings, emotions, intellect, ego, the senses and their objects, elements and the invisibl...e field that binds it and brings it all together. Within this network are fundamental qualities that are responsible for creative intelligence and the maintenance of what is created. This directly relates to our personal quality of life and shows us how to encourage good vibes and release negative behaviours. It is one of the foundations of Ayurveda and Yoga and paints a beautiful and inspiring picture of the emergent reality we find ourselves in. Saturday 1st August 10am to 2pm yukti clinic, Belmondos Market, Noosaville $111 - $88 sliding scale for those affected by lockdown restrictions. 23.01.2022 There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep t...he channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. ... No artist is pleased. [There is] no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others Martha Graham @evolvingperception
23.01.2022 The pancha maya koshas are considered as the five illusory bodies or containers of experience. The garments worn by the soul to experience itself as a divided phenomenon. Annamayakosha - the physical body... Pranamayakosha - the energy body Manomayakosha - the mind body Vijnyanamayakosha - the intellect body Anandamaya kosher - the bliss body The objective of yoga is to know who we are beyond the illusion of these sheaths built into the quantum field of reality. When the physical body is balanced, the breath must be mastered, mastering the art of breathing regulates and controls the mind, when mind is harmonised, intellect or inherent higher intelligence emerges. This higher intelligence brings the soul into a state of bliss, also known as samadhi. Beyond illusion, there is that state of oneness, also known as yoga. Yoga practice is the path of remembering that place we are from, Ayurveda is the foundation of supporting the soul in its journey back to that place. #panchamayakosha #ayurveda #yoga #vedicphilisophy #ayurvedalifestyle #ayurvedaconsultant

18.01.2022 Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better. Albert Einstein Samkhya philosophy describes the origin of life to be a coalescence of pure consciousness and manifest nature. This duel reality organizes itself in a perfect balance of discernment and self-referral. Its qualities give rise to creative intelligence, dynamic expression and the form in which it can mold its proclivity.... Within living beings, this creative fabric is expressed as mind, senses, and body. These three pillars are believed to act as an abode for the ‘soul’ or ‘observer’. Its foundation is the product of the subtlest of intelligence converging with the densest of forms expressed through the five great elements. It is essential for an Ayurvedic physician to understand the substratum of life despite its inexhaustible potential manifestations. This knowledge provides the most effective ways to find patterns within its matrix and bring about equilibrium and harmony of mind, senses and body. To understand the essence of nature is to understand the foundation of Ayurvedic practice. Through it’s complexity and variations we are able to reverse the disease process and bring about health and wellbeing. Ayurvedic pharmacology is the fine art of unlocking natures healing intelligence and converting it into nectar. #natureshealingintelligence #ayurveda #ayurvedicmedicine #yoga #samkhya #ancientwisdom
17.01.2022 Samkhya Philosophy Origins of life Samhkya philosophy is part of the six ancient philosophies relating to the manifestation and interaction of the non-physical and physical universe. According to this philosophy the universe is divided into two realities, Purusha (consciousness) and Prakrti (matter). A living being is considered as the state in which Parusha and Prakruti are bound together. This coming together according to Samkhya scholars gives rise to the qualities of individual intelligence, ego, qualities of the mind, and the various permutations of senses, feelings, actions and elements. Samkhya philosophy acts as one the primary foundations of understanding the creation of life and genetic tendencies of living beings. #samkhya #meditaion #pranayama #yoga #ayurveda

16.01.2022 How are you spending your time? What is the quality of your mind/thoughts? Where is your attention going? What are your sense organs focusing on? Is it excessive? Is it non-active? Does in bring happiness or misery?... These are the origins of happiness and vitality as well as disease and misery. The direction you choose is entirely up to you..... Primary Causes of disease - Nidana Ayurveda categorises the manifestation of disease into three primary causes. Their origins are divided into causes that arise internally, causes that arise externally and causes that are associated the intrinsic mechanisms that bridge the internal and external environments. The body and mind constitute the substrata of disease and happiness. Balanced utilization of time, mental faculties and objects of the sense organs is the cause of happiness. (Ca. Sutra 1:55) The causes of disease relating to both body and mind are three-fold; wrong utilisation, non-utilisation and excessive utilisation of time, mental faculties and objects of the sense organs. 16.01.2022 Information is like food, it will either nourish you or make you sick. Are your news and information sources wholesome and nourishing, informative and balanced? Do they provide you with all the ingredients you require to decide how to make the right choices that enable you to be empowered and well informed? Or are they more like fast-food outlets, full of sugar and preservatives, heavily processed with artificial fillers making you feel disempowered, fearful, flustered, fo...ggy or confused? It’s essential for our wellbeing both individually and collectively to develop a healthy level of discernment in a time when the motives behind providing news and information have become so deceptive and misleading. In Vedic philosophy this internal barometer of identifying truth is known as Buddhi. Buddhi is our higher mind state responsible for inner wisdom. This faculty enables us the ability to discern and judge information relating to psychological, moral or aesthetic content in order to discriminate between various choices and actions that determine our decisions. Ayurveda and Yoga encourages the cultivation of this inner wisdom through lifestyle and spiritual practices. These practices aid in deconstructing cultural and self-imposed psychological conditioning that lead to fear and suffering. Often we are governed and controlled by the lower faculties of mind that lead to the misuse of the intellect and the misuse of the sense organs. When the lower mental faculties are in control, suffering becomes inevitable. Where does your news and information come from? Who owns it? Is there bias in how it’s delivered? Is it a trustworthy source? Does it provide appropriate and balanced information allowing you to make informed choices? If it was food, what sort of food would it be? Wholesome/unwholesome Be wise with what you choose to eat and be even wiser with the quality of information you allow to take space in your mind.

14.01.2022 Introducing the Sri Yantra to our therapies centre to bring balance, harmony and healing into our space. The Sri Yantra is a a sacred geometrical symbol originating in ancient Vedic culture. The triangles represent the cosmic reality and the human body. It represents the form of the Goddess Tripura Sundari - the intelligence responsible for the natural beauty of the three worlds - The consciousness of the physical plane, the intermediate conscious plane and the divine conscio...us plane. The upward pointing triangles represent the masculine and the downward facing triangles represent the feminine. The lotus petals represent creation and reproductive intelligence. The broken square represents the temple of life with four open doorways representing our potential to move between realities. When we harmonise these three planes within, we experience complete balance. Our inner healing intelligence is activated and we experience a deep sense of peace. 12.01.2022 VITAL LIFE FORCE - PRANA Prana is life. It is considered as the life force or life energy responsible for permeating every level of creation. If prana withdraws from the body, life is withdrawn from the body. ... It is the source of all expressions of energy, and is the basis of creation. In the ancient Vedic texts known as the Upanishads there is a verse Ekoham bahusyam meaning I am one, let me become many. Within the primordial consciousness, the resting potential of all possibilities, there was a sankalpa, meaning will or intention, to express the one into many. This original sankalpa set forth the first vibration, the first manifestation of pure consciousness. The initial vibration that continues to course throughout the entire universe within all living and non-living entities is known as prana. The more prana we invite into our being, the more vibrant we become, and the more connected we feel with the place we are from and all forms of creation. Within our body, the seat of prana is located in the head and governs higher cerebral activities such as memory, thoughts and emotions, and permeates the subtlest regions of all cells. Prana is constantly governing all biological functions within the body.

11.01.2022 It would make more sense for the authorities to be educating the public in effective breathing techniques as opposed to launching a full scale assault on enforc...ing the wearing of masks. Nasal breathing significantly improves the immunity of your respiratory system and reduces risk of respiratory viral infections. Nasal breathing increases the release of nitric oxide (NO) which has been shown to compromise airborne viruses. NO also encourages the dilation of the alveoli in the lungs which encourages more efficient O2 and CO2 diffusion. Also extremely beneficial for those suffering from asthma. Bhramari pranayama - Hummingbee breath, has been shown to encourage the release of nitric oxide (NO) within the nasal cavity by up to 15x. Increase NO = increase respiratory immune defence. Nasal breathing also reduces the amount of moisture expelled as opposed to mouth breathing by up to 42%. This would benefit people who are healthy, as well as reduce the transmission of those infected. If your breathing with your mouth open and expelling more water particles then your more likely to be spreading the virus. Covid has been shown to primarily effect the lungs and cardiovascular systems, it’s largely transmitted through the air. It doesn’t matter how obsessed we become washing our hands if we’re not minimising it’s airborne circulation and our respiratory resistance. #ayurveda #yoga #pranayama #bramharipranayama #reduceviralload #nasalbreathing

10.01.2022 Dhanvantari day Celebrating nature’s healing intelligence Dhanvantari The God of Medicine is the incarnation of Vishnu (the preserving intelligence of life) and the Vedic mythological representation of natures healing Intelligence first described in the Srimad Bhagavatam. Ayurveda provides the knowledge of this healing intelligence and its application in disease treatment, prevention and life extension.... Dhanvantari is often depicted with four hands holding a chakra/spinning disc, shanka/conch shell, jaloka/leech and pot containing amrit/nectar. The disc refers to the uses of surgical procedures, the conch refers to the universe being variations of vibrational frequencies originating from a primordial source, the leach refers to purificatory procedures, and the pot of nectar represents the rejuvenating properties inherent in nature. #ayurveda #healingwithnature #yoga #pranayama #ayurvedictreatments #consultaions #herbalmedicine #ayurvedalifestyle
09.01.2022 Life is a dance between Purusha - consciousness Prakruti - form This is Samkhya philosophy... Giving birth to a unified field of cosmic intelligence connecting all vibrational expressions refined into the directions time space air fire water and earth Life emerges Mind ego thoughts feelings emotions body interwoven in a constant flux of creating experiencing and dissolving back into itself It’s emergent qualities; all possibilities reflected through the senses The penetration and receptivity between this divine masculine and feminine releases the scent we recognise as love, it’s sweetness reminds us of where we’re from and why we’re here. It’s this quality that stimulates our primal instinct to create new life and continue the cycle of the witness experiencing itself through the myriad forms of creation and the desires arising from its individual form through the ego. So it may inhale the intoxicating scent released from the flowers of its own creation and exhale itself into new possibilities of expression This inhale exhale is the movement consciousness Breathe is the conscious life that sustains and maintains the body Learning to regulate breath Is bringing conscious awareness into the body Balancing consciousness and form This is where life starts This is the point we return to through the breath This incomprehensibly profound reality cannot be fully understood, however it can be felt and experienced By being receptive to its sweetness and sitting quietly Samkhya breathing and meditation workshop Saturday 1st 10am to 2pm yukti clinic, Belmondos Market, Noosaville $111 - $88 sliding scale for those affected by lockdown restrictions. #learnayurveda #learnyoga #learntobreathe #learntomeditate @wayne.celeban.ayurveda

02.01.2022 One negative thought usually attracts another, so make sure you are aware of your thought patterns. This often leads to a downward spiral of perpetual negative thought patterns that define our reality, and before you know it, the world has become overwhelming and non-cooperative. Begin this exercise by fixing your attention on the things you are grateful for, look for the beauty in life. As you do this become aware of your breathing. Smooth rhythmic and deep, into your belly.... Now become aware of the space around your heart. Breathe the sensation of gratitude into this area. Allow the sensation to spread into your entire body and mind for as long as desired. This simple exercise can help produce the relaxation response by releasing feel good’ hormones such dopamine and endorphin to help you climb back out of negativity reclaiming you natural state of being.
01.01.2022 These are some of the general health recommendations provided by the Indian government for the prevention and management of covid-19. It’s positive to see they are implementing simple and practical suggestions, and acknowledging that this virus can also be managed by promoting optimal health through boosting immunity, managing symptoms, improving nutrition and the overall health of mind, digestive, metabolic and tissue systems. They are also showing positive results using Ayu...rvedic medicines for recovery in covid cases. I spoken with Ayurvedic doctors in India, however I have not sighted any studies. People that are more susceptible to covid have pre-existing conditions and compromised health. What appears very obvious yet largely ignored is that healthy people are less likely effected. Theoretically, the healthier we are collectively mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, the faster we adjust to the virus. Investing in improving population health and wellbeing has no side effects and is likely much more economically viable. - Medicinal herbs - Breathing techniques - Specific nutrition for your constitution - Physical activity - Yoga - Meditation - Sunlight - Time in nature - Good company There’s no point waiting for our government to address the elephant in the room here. The inbuilt rigidity of this system is stifling our potential to genuinely improve our quality of life and the health of our planet. Good health is the foundation of all successful endeavours. Self-empowerment and sovereignty is up to each individual, and each individual is responsible towards empowering their community.
