25.01.2022 Bingo on today!

24.01.2022 The Yuleba Development Group have had a win! We sent a letter to the MRC asking that the Yuleba Post Office remain open over the Christmas period (less public holidays of course) when all other council facilities are shut down. Since the MRC took over the Post Office service in Yuleba, it has been closed over the extended Christmas period like all their other offices. Very please to announce that they have taken on board our request and the Yuleba Post Office will now remain open as an essential service during this period (once again - except for the gazetted public holidays). Thanks to the MRC Mayor and Councillors who also supported this.

13.01.2022 SHARE YOUR VIEWS - IMPROVEMENTS TO YULEBA & WALLUMBILLA TOURISM PRECINCTS Maranoa Regional Council is seeking community input from residents to develop the mas...ter plans for future upgrades to the Yuleba Cobb & Co Park and the Wallumbilla Heritage and Calico Cottage Precinct. In response to the community expressing ideas, the sessions are a chance to get everyone involved, with an architect now engaged to help kick off the process. Councillor Puddy Chandler, Portfolio Chair for Tourism said the sessions are a great chance to gain feedback and to ensure the important elements of the park and precinct are retained. It is important for the long-term vision of the park and the precinct that we involve the community as much as we can. Primarily used to attract visitors, any improvements to the areas will also see benefit for the communities all year round, Cr Chandler said. Ribbons can be purchased by making a donation which goes to the Police Legacy Charity - which is a great cause! I urge everyone to consider what our boys and girls in blue do for us on a daily basis (24/7) and often at a personal cost to their own lives and their families, so please support Police Legacy tomorrow. You can also donate at any time during the year but tomorrow is Police Legacy Day.
