12.01.2022 1 pumpkin pie about to go in the oven. This will be delicious for dessert with some whipped cream tonight. It's one of Greg's favourites. I did a count in the pantry & we still have 11 pumpkins stored We usually grow Dutch Crooknecks which are the ancestor to the Butternut & they store really well however last season I ran out of seeds so we planted Butternuts. They haven't lasted too bad but are starting to go a bit soft in the middle. I've got more of the Crooknecks ready for planting in November.

03.01.2022 Using one of my Fowlers preserving jars to make paper pots to transplant our tomato seedlings from the trays to give them more room to grow in the hothouse until we're ready to plant them outside.
