03.01.2022 It was the last game of the Pennants this week and we played Mareeba who are at the top of the ladder. We had a very enjoyable day of bowls and friendship, but they defeated us by 16 points. Congratulations Mareeba. I haven’t heard yet which team actually ended up on top - Marlin Coast or Mareeba. Vicki, Pauline, Kay H. and Shirley did an awesome job in winning against Sue Brady’s team. This is why it was only 16 points. So proud of our team and our reserves. It’s been a wonderful experience for our newer bowlers. Many thanks to Vicki, our awesome bus driver, who got us safely to our away games and home again, sometimes by the scenic route and also seeing some right to their door. It was great fun on the bus and I think it helped gel the team spirit. Looking forward to next year.

02.01.2022 Still learning how to handle our new green. Mareeba ladies were just too good for us on the day, but it was a very enjoyable day. Congratulations Mareeba.
