20.01.2022 This week has been all about community, our wonderful Yungaburra community! The Possums have been practicing to race at The Yungaburra State School sports day. We also recreated our Yungaburra town using collage materials, including roads and lakes and even made a pizza that you might buy from the Pizzeria in town!

09.01.2022 What a busy start to the term roo’s! Book week, chicks, transitions to Prep and of course lots of play and learning.

09.01.2022 This week the Possums have been researching caterpillars and focusing on the book 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar!' We learnt about metamorphosis and attempted to read the book by using the pictures!

08.01.2022 The Possums enjoyed a fun week of camping, constructing dams, playing families and schools, learning about the 1st Christmas, making Christmas crafts and cooking pancakes!

07.01.2022 The Roo’s are loving learning about Christmas and all the fun and play that goes along with it. We have had a busy couple of weeks practicing our Christmas concert , making Christmas craft and learning through play

03.01.2022 A big thank you to Miss Kylie and Mr Rangi from Gambir Yidinji Cultural Heritage and Protection. They came in this morning to kick start our NAIDOC week. Sharing some amazing paintings and Aboriginal culture with us. We learned the words to heads, shoulders, knees and toes in the Yudinji language. The children were enthralled with their lesson.
