03.01.2022 A meteorite that was stolen from an Atherton museum more than five years ago has finally been found, at a home in Mooroobool. The ancient relic was returned to ...its rightful owners today, but mystery still surrounds where it's spent the last few years. To understand the issues and find out how you can help the future of your local media, visit www.saveourvoices.com.au #WINNews6pm #SaveOurVoices
01.01.2022 A female Lumholtz’s tree-kangaroo with a fairly big joey trying to hide in her pouch. He/she is definitely getting close to have outgrown his mummy’s pouch and ...will be spending more and more time exploring the outside world. There are a total of 14 species of tree-kangaroos inhabiting the tropical rain-forests of Papua New Guinea, West Papua, Australia and some islands in the region. The Lumholtz’s tree-kangaroo is the smaller of the two Australian species and can be found in the rainforest of tropical north Queensland, centred on the Atherton Tablelands. They have adapted to a life in the trees and live exclusively on leaves and fruits of rainforest trees.
01.01.2022 It’s a beautiful day in Yungaburra.
