03.01.2022 A meteorite that was stolen from an Atherton museum more than five years ago has finally been found, at a home in Mooroobool. The ancient relic was returned to ...its rightful owners today, but mystery still surrounds where it's spent the last few years. 01.01.2022 A female Lumholtz’s tree-kangaroo with a fairly big joey trying to hide in her pouch. He/she is definitely getting close to have outgrown his mummy’s pouch and ...will be spending more and more time exploring the outside world. There are a total of 14 species of tree-kangaroos inhabiting the tropical rain-forests of Papua New Guinea, West Papua, Australia and some islands in the region. The Lumholtz’s tree-kangaroo is the smaller of the two Australian species and can be found in the rainforest of tropical north Queensland, centred on the Atherton Tablelands. They have adapted to a life in the trees and live exclusively on leaves and fruits of rainforest trees.

01.01.2022 It’s a beautiful day in Yungaburra.
