15.01.2022 COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS MEASURES After much consideration of the developing situation in Australia and Alice Springs, Master Yun and I have decided that we will be taking the more careful approach and suspending our classes temporarily from Monday 23rd March. Your remaining term fees will be kept at the Youth Centre and credited back to you when our classes return. NT Government schools’ Term 2 starts on 20th April. We are hoping to resume classes on this date. We will be monito...ring the situation closely and following NT Government guidelines in relation to when gatherings of more than 50 people are permitted again. We are planning to post videos for students to follow along for some training at home (It may feature some of our Instructor’s homes!) Please keep up your practice as we may be grading in a few weeks on our return to classes. Korea Trip Team our practices and fundraising are also suspended until we resume classes. We have kept your deposits and funds raised from our Bunning BBQ set aside. We will discuss dates of travel and future fundraising when we resume classes. 15.01.2022 With accordance with the advice from the Australian Government Department of Health in regards to the potential spread of infection, the Alice Springs Youth Cen...tres staff has conducted a mass disinfection of its interior and will be asking all our participants to wash their hands before entering the Centre’s facilities; and anyone who is sick is requested not to attend any classes for the safety of others. Thank you for your understanding.

02.01.2022 **GRADING RESCHEDULED TO WED 10 JUNE** Hi everyone. Hope all our students and families are well and in good health in these strange times. We have been further advised by NT Sport and NT Health that even with social distancing measures we are not allowed to have parents observe the grading on 3rd June. Master Yun has decided to reschedule the grading to 10th June to enable parents to observe the grading from the main hall which we will return to for training from this Frida...y. Due to social distancing restrictions we are still not allowed to practice sparring, so grading will consist of stationary kicking, as well as strikes and blocks in Choo-choom Sogi stance and the pattern for your belt level. Coloured belts will be breaking boards as you have been practicing. Parents are allowed to enter the Community Centre facility to observe classes and grading from this Friday! Lets make the most of the extra time to perfect patterns and prepare for your best grading yet! See more
