24.01.2022 Please slow down on the Wooli Road. A couple of Emus have been sighted over the past few days. Most recently near the Yuraygir National Park stone sign about 1km west of the Minnie Water turnoff. Slow down and save the emus - you might even get a close up look at these magnificient endangered birds.

20.01.2022 Keep your eyes open

20.01.2022 OK, back in business. A range of COVID friendly walk support options awaits. Ready to Get Outside? #greatwalks #getoutside #yuraygirwalks #coastalwalk #myclarencevalley

18.01.2022 As an unforgettable Summer starts to fade and we look forward to the cooler weather, we reflect on the last few months in our Summer newsletter. Yours. Free! http://mailchi.mp//news-from-the-yuraygir-coast-summer-303

17.01.2022 In September 2019 the fires in the Northern section of Yuraygir National Park were devastating and resulted in the closure of the track between Angourie and Lake Arragan. After a huge demolition and clean up by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service that section of the coastal walk is now open. It's beautiful to see the regeneration happening.

15.01.2022 Please be aware that Emu are endangered in this part of the world and there are very few remaining. Drive carefully and by all means report any sightings to us, National Parks or Clarence Valley Council.

15.01.2022 What a lovely thing to be listening out for. Powerful owls saying 'Yes, I still love you'.

15.01.2022 Yuraygir Walking Experiences will be on hold for 2020 while we take a little nap. But by all means stay in touch and get back to us when the simple, beautiful pleasures of walking and kayaking in undeveloped natural coastal environments start to look like something you want to do...

13.01.2022 The northern section of the track (Angourie to Lake Arragan) has been closed for some time to allow for rebuilding by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service after the fires of 2019. It's a massive undertaking and due to the location and access issues, materials are being brought in by helicopter. Despite the recent flooding events, work is progressing well. Luckily we have been able to modify the walk while these repairs are being done. We can't wait to get on the track when the work is completed. How about you? Photos owned by and used with permission of NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.

12.01.2022 The Cane Toad is still marching south, but the Yuraygir region is being defended by this great group of people.

04.01.2022 Fancy a little good news?

04.01.2022 Beautiful scenes from several NSW National Parks, set to lovely transcendental music, to inspire and calm, while you wait and plan to get back outside.

03.01.2022 Slowly slowly, we are getting there - reworking the website and preparing to open the doors again for a simpler set of COVID friendly walk support options. Stay tuned.

01.01.2022 If you live in a fire affected area and want to help document the recovery of our bushland, this could be for you. UNSW Centre for Ecosystem Science is running a great citizen science initiative doing just that. With your phone and walking shoes, you can learn more about your local area and contribute useful knowledge at the same time, whenever it suits.
