18.01.2022 This 5feet+ Didjeridu is now complete. The Didj is in the key of ‘B’ It has the sand goanna design & has been sealed & oiled. *I use a mixture of linseed oil & metho to preserve the Didj. After painting & sealing is complete re-oiling won’t be necessary for approx 12months. Then the oil mix is only applied to the inside of Didj. Leave to drain for a full day then wipe away any excess oil.... (Metho just thins the oil & allows it to get right into the wood. The metho will naturally evaporate & disappear.)* DO NOT USE ESSENTIAL OILS ON YOUR DIDJERIDU TO MAKE IT SMELL PRETTY. IT WILL MAKE IT CRACK. It has a wax mouthpiece that can be adjusted easily to suit your playing style. This Didjeridu is suited to 12yrs+ Ideal for learners to experienced players. It has a very rich deep sound. 03.01.2022 What are they thinking? The Queensland Labor Government are refusing to protect three of the last free-flowing desert rivers on the planet from fracking for gas.... These rivers, in Queensland's Channel Country, sustain wildlife, outback communities and a multi-million dollar beef industry. They are the lifeblood of the Lake Eyre Basin and should not be threatened for the greed of gas companies. Yet, despite massive opposition from the community, farmers and Traditional Owners, Annastacia Palaszczuk MP has failed to protect them. Let's get this video shared around to remind them what fracking can do to our rivers. I took this footage on the Condamine River, also in Queensland, a few kilometres away from a massive gas field.
