14.01.2022 Finish this sentence: "You can have the best product in the world, but......" From Phil Knight, Nikes CEO circa 1995: "if nobody knows about it, what good is it?" TRUE THAT.... The fact remains, without effective marketing, you're going to struggle to scale. And this applies whether you're a product or service based business. Given I know a thing or two about marketing, and I'm finding there's a lot of overwhelm out there (yep surveyed you and you told me this!), I've been thinking..... 12.01.2022 One month ago today I was arriving in Uluru, to celebrate my 50th birthday. And while the entire trip was spectacular (truly once in a lifetime), my highlight wasn't the breath taking scenery, or the spiritual energy, or even the grandeur of seeing it all from a helicopter. My highlight was my birthday dinner "ceremony", and it totally took me by surprise.... You see..... I planned this entire festival as a thank you for being there for me affair. And my birthday dinner under the stars at Uluru, was the pinnacle of my gratitude. But then I kind of had my thunder stolen, in the most incredible way. My very amazing family & friends presented me with a book, and each of them read aloud from it. One by one, they shared a word that reminded them of me, as well as why they'd chosen that word. It was overwhelmingly beautiful. I felt like I was going to burst with emotion. And the words chosen were all very similar, which in itself was magical & heart warming. Here's why I'm sharing this now.... I'm in a season of launching......and I'm sure you can relate, it's easy to get totally absorbed in it all. For instance: lost in the work' that's showing up & making sure the people you most want to help are seeing what's possible for them in your offer leading to neglecting things life self care, your loved ones and ya know, basic things like making the bed the nasty inner critic showing up and telling you all sorts of things; eg I'm not doing enough, I'm doing too much, people are sick of me....blah, blah, blah I made a deal with myself this time. I'm NOT AVAILABLE for any of it. And I created strategies to combat each one. One of which is getting out my beautiful birthday book and pausing to receive the love that pours off the pages. Another is doing MORE self care than I typically do. I'm also implementing ALL my daily practices. My self belief blueprint. Trust transformation. Manifesting. I feel good - amazing would be a stretch! This launch is teaching me it gets easier It's also (already) my best launch to date Now back to my beautiful birthday book.
