25.01.2022 STATEMENT FROM LNP LEADER DEB FRECKLINGTON ON LATEST FOOTBALL COVID BREACH. Friday, 18th September 2020 Annastacia Palaszczuk needs to send a strong message and demand the NRL and Melbourne Storm send home Christian Welch.... He breached quarantine and broke the rules. Being stood down for one match is just a slap on the wrist. This is yet another example of the Premiers double standards. This soft approach from Labor sends more mixed messages to Queenslanders. Its clear Annastacia Palaszczuk favours sport stars, celebrities and VIPs ahead of every day Queenslanders. If I were Premier, anyone who breaks the bubble would be sent home no matter who they or how much money they bring into the state. Queenslanders have sacrificed so much this year and for an interstate footy player to break quarantine rules and get off lightly is a cop out. Under Labor theres one rule for the rich and another rule for everyone else

23.01.2022 NO EXEMPTION FOR BRAIN SURGERY PATIENT Tuesday 22 September, 2020 Please find a statement below from LNP Leader Deb Frecklington on the case of dad-of-two David Jonsson, who was denied permission to quarantine at his Toowoomba home after undergoing life-saving brain surgery in Sydney.... Labor has again failed to show compassion, consistency and common sense when it comes to medical hotel quarantine exemptions. Surely a father recovering from brain surgery qualifies as an exceptional circumstance. World-renowned surgeon Dr Charlie Teo even said home quarantine was imperative for his healing during this time. Home quarantine would allow David to exercise, as he has been instructed by doctors, and to be supported by his family. Hotel quarantine is no place to recover from brain surgery. David has even been denied access to the gym so he can use the exercise bike which is critical for his rehabilitation. In a heartless response, the Palaszczuk Government has suggested Davids wife, with two small children, should load up their exercise bike, drive two hours to deliver it, unload it and then drive two hours home. Our borders must be strong but the restrictions must be based on compassion and common sense as well. Sadly, David is another victim of Annastacia Palaszczuk using borders as a political weapon. If David was an AFL star or bringing a lot of money into Queensland, he would been waved through. 22.01.2022 LNP FUNDING BOOST TO KICK AND SHOOT GOALS FOR GRASSROOTS SPORTS 27 October, 2020 The LNP’s 68.4 million infrastructure investment fund, includes $21.4 million for grass roots community clubs... $15 million upgrade to Ballymore Park $2.5 million for Townsville District Rugby Union’s high performance facility $10 million to upgrade Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay $20 million to upgrade Sunshine Coast Stadium A Deb Frecklington LNP Government will kick and shoot goals for grassroots sporting clubs with a $68.4 million infrastructure investment, creating 212 jobs for tradies across Queensland. LNP Leader Deb Frecklington said the funding boost would enable grassroots sporting clubs run by mum and dad volunteers to upgrade local facilities. We have a plan to provide some of the best local sporting facilities in Australia whether you’re a junior having a run around on a Saturday morning, enjoying a game with your mates or aspiring to reach the elite level, Ms Frecklington said. We’ll also be putting steps in place to fix Labor’s sports rorts fiasco to ensure integrity is returned to the grants process and that funding is reaching those that need it most. The LNP’s package will include a $15 million redevelopment of Ballymore Park into a world-class sports precinct and community facility matching the Federal Government’s $15 million commitment to get this project underway. We’ll also commit $2.5 million towards a major redevelopment of Townsville District Rugby Union’s high performance facility, including new male and female change rooms, renovated fields and upgraded facilities. Regional infrastructure upgrades will also be rolled out in Mackay and on the Sunshine Coast. The LNP was the first to propose a major $20 million expansion of the Sunshine Coast Stadium in a major upgrade to local facilities. And we have committed $10 million to upgrade the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay, in partnership with the Federal Government to secure more national and international sporting teams to the region. LNP Shadow Sports Minister John-Paul Langbroek said measures would be put in place to fix the grants process. It’s time to end Labor’s sports rorts scandal and the interference of trouble-prone Labor Minister Mick de Brenni, Mr Langbroek said. Under an LNP Government, the Sports Minister won’t be allowed to intervene in the grant approvals process and ignore the advice of the Department. We will ensure the Department’s Director-General is required to sign-off on any approved grant applications for the Minister’s electorate, to restore integrity and confidence in the system. Better record keeping will also be put in place as a priority, a key recommendation from the Auditor-General.

22.01.2022 Before coronavirus, Queensland was the jobless capital of Australia. In 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Labor has no plan to fix their mess. Change the government on 31 October.

22.01.2022 Hi everyone ... here we are again with our Mobile Office at Mango Hill right opposite the Westfield North Lakes sign ... Thankyou to my fabulous volunteers. Lets get Queensland working again. !!!

21.01.2022 Lets get Queensland Working Again

21.01.2022 Give Palaszczuk and Labor your "voter feedback" on 31 October. Change the government and lets get Queensland working again.

21.01.2022 Wow even Peter Beattie thinks Annastacia Palaszczuk has done a terrible job. The guy is right.

20.01.2022 The Palaszczuk Labor Governments nine new job destroying taxes and tax hikes are costing every Queenslander almost $800. For a family of four, thats over $300...0 in increased Labor taxes. At the same time, Queensland has the worst unemployment rate in the nation. Change the government on 31 October.

20.01.2022 Our election signs start to go out today. Thank you to my wonderful campaign managers and volunteers. Pic of Bec with her sign xxx

20.01.2022 ECONOMIC RECOVERY AGENCY DEPARTMENT OF GRUNT The LNP will establish an Economic Recovery Agency, which will be headed by the new Coordinator-General, to kickstart major stimulus projects across the state and create jobs. Queenslanders want a plan to stimulate the economy and provide a decade of secure jobs, and thats what the LNP will deliver.... Coronavirus has dealt Queensland the biggest economic blow in almost a century greater than any fire, flood or cyclone weve ever seen. A coordinated economic reconstruction is needed to drag Queensland out of recession and create jobs. The economic recovery from a bushfire, flood or cyclone would have started within days, but Labor still has no plan and no Budget months after the coronavirus outbreak began. Just like how a reconstruction authority takes charge in a disaster, the LNPs Economic Recovery Agency will lead Queenslands economic reconstruction. Instead of rebuilding damaged infrastructure after a disaster, the LNPs plan will deliver the New Bradfield Scheme and build new dams and roads to stimulate the economy. Our Economic Recovery Agency will be Queenslands Department of Grunt for our economic recovery. The Economic Recovery Agencys first 100-day action plan will be to coordinate: Delivering the New Bradfield scheme Establishing the Queensland Dam Company to progress the Nullinga Dam, Urannah Dam, Rookwood Weir, Burdekin Falls Dam upgrade and Emu Swamp Dam Fixing Paradise Dam utilising international expert advice An immediate audit of stalled major projects and fast-tracking approvals across all government agencies Issuing the tender documents for the $1 billion South-East Queensland congestion busting infrastructure stimulus package Fast-tracking approvals for the Second M1 Delivering 4 new ICE rehab centres Promoting Queensland as the low tax state for investment because of our no new taxes policy Implementing our Queensland Investment Partnerships, to secure $1 billion of private sector investment Reducing water prices for SunWater irrigators by almost 20 per cent Establishing our Industry Skills Council to ensure vocational training is meeting skills shortages Fast-tracking air-conditioning every state school classroom to support local tradie jobs

19.01.2022 There's only 1 hour left to get Queensland working again. VOTE 1 LNP.

19.01.2022 So Labor are going to cut 1 Billion from Queensland health over 4 years to pay for 9000 more staff. Makes sense.

17.01.2022 MILES MUST QUIT OVER BLACKWATER Friday 18 September, 2020 Annastacia Palaszczuks Health Minister must finally show some integrity and resign after it was revealed the town of Blackwater was unnecessarily placed in lockdown for three days.... Leaked emails show Queensland Health knew that local man Nathan Turner, who was just 30 when he died, had tested negative for coronavirus for 72 hours before the news was made public. LNP Shadow Health Minister Ros Bates said the Minister must quit over the decision to dupe 5000 Blackwater residents and his failure to come clean when questioned by the media yesterday. Queenslanders cannot trust the Health Minister. He has shown that he is incapable of telling the truth, Ms Bates said. The people of Blackwater and Nathan Turners family were lied to and put through three days of hell. Labor have been caught red-handed playing politics with peoples lives. Annastacia Palaszczuk is using coronavirus as a political weapon, trying to instil fear in Queensland communities and it has got to stop. Instead of apologising, the Minister doubled-down on his deception. This is the same Minister who ran a rigged poll to justify re-naming the Lady Cilento Childrens Hospital. Labors Health Minister is not fit to serve the people of this state. He should quit and, if he doesnt, Annastacia Palaszczuk should show some leadership and sack him.

16.01.2022 Labor's only in it for themselves. And you're paying. Change the government on 31 October.

16.01.2022 The buck stops with the Premier. She was elected to lead and today she has failed. Disgracefully, Sarah was not allowed to attend her father's funeral or give her mum and younger sister a hug.

16.01.2022 We need to enforce this.

15.01.2022 COVID-19 INQUIRY MUST BE EXTENDED Sunday 13 September, 2020 The LNP is calling on the Palaszczuk Labor Government to broaden the current Parliamentary Health Committee Inquiry into Queenslands COVID-19 response to include the recent clusters at state government-managed facilities.... LNP Leader Deb Frecklington said the outbreaks at Ipswich Hospital, the Wacol Youth Detention Centre and the Queensland Corrections Training Academy deserved further examination. These are all state government-run facilities and there must be proper oversight of how these three clusters have spread and whether the outbreaks have been appropriately contained, Ms Frecklington said. Its been more than three weeks since the Brisbane Youth Detention centre cluster revealed six cases and there is still no confirmed source of the recent clusters. The missing link between the clusters and the original source of infection is also still unknown. Following the update yesterday that revealed a further three new cases, its clear that the outbreaks are continuing. The Health Committee needs to specifically enquire into how these recent clusters have grown over the last three weeks, so that further outbreaks can be prevented and lessons learned. Concerns have been raised about the availability of fit-for-purpose personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Ipswich Hospital by the Queensland Nurses and Midwives Union and also whether there has been adequate training for staff. Other issues raised have included whether staff are wearing PPE properly and if there is a need for mandated N95 respirator masks instead of just surgical masks for staff in direct contact with COVID patients. As the union has outlined, they are the guidelines for health workers in Victoria. Shadow Health Minister Ros Bates said she was concerned that the Ipswich Hospital cluster has now spread to seven health care workers. Outbreaks in hospitals will not only impact on workers, but also cause a major disruption to the health services provided to other patients and should be avoided at all costs, Ms Bates said. There has already been a disruption to category 2 and 3 surgeries for patients at the Ipswich Hospital. It is understood the Inquiry is due to report this week and the LNP will be writing to the Chair to push for an extension.

15.01.2022 What did Labor say to Queensland's hard working doctors and nurses? "Do more." The LNP will hire 2,530 more nurses and midwives and 750 more doctors to fix Labor's health mess.

14.01.2022 There are only 2 days left to get Queensland working again! Our plan: www.lnp.org.au

13.01.2022 EVERY DAY QUEENSLANDERS GET AFL CORPORATE SCRAPS Thursday, 17th September 2020 LNP Leader Deb Frecklington said shes bitterly disappointed for the diehard Queensland footy fans wholl miss out on the Gabba Grand Final because all of the tickets will be snapped up by members, corporates and VIPs.... Not one ticket will be offered first to the general public but instead Queenslanders will only get the scraps of the unsold tickets, Ms Frecklington said. Even though Queensland taxpayers are forking out millions of dollars to host the event, most wont be able to attend. This is another example of one rule for the rich and one rule for everyone else under the Palaszczuk Labor Government. I, like so many other Queenslanders love my AFL and the mighty Brisbane Lions and I feel for those families wholl miss out because theyre not a VIP. If I were Premier, I would have secured a deal with the AFL to set aside tickets for the general public, because everyday Queenslanders have sacrificed so much this year and deserve a chance to witness this blockbuster event. This may be the one and only time Brisbane gets to host the grand final and for Queenslanders to miss out on tickets, despite paying for the right to host the event is a slap in the face to local footy fans. Annastacia Palaszczuk needs to reveal how much taxpayers paid to host an event that most Queenslanders wont be able to attend. 54% of tickets have been allocated to members of the clubs in the final 15% of tickets have been allocated to AFL members and final series ticket holders 16% of tickets have been allocated premium hospitality packages 15% of tickets have been allocated to AFL stakeholders, corporate and broadcast partner 0% of tickets have been allocated to Queensland taxpayers.

12.01.2022 MEDIA STATEMENT FROM LNP LEADER DEB FRECKLINGTON LABOR FINING MOTORISTS FOR USING HIGHWAY TRUCK STOPS Sunday, September 20, 2020... Banning motorists from using rest stops is reckless and irresponsible by Labor Queenslands road toll is alarming high and fatigue is one of the Fatal 5. A driver who has been awake for 17 hours has a driving ability similar to a driver with blood alcohol concentration of 0.05. People driving long distances must feel like they have a safe place they can pull up and recover. When we need to encourage more domestic and drive tourism, Labor shouldnt be fining grey nomads or holiday makers just trying to stay safe on our roads. I can understand the concerns in the trucking industry. Labor should be building more rest stops, not banning motorists from using them. An LNP government would deliver a budget in the first 100 days of government that invests in the infrastructure Queensland needs. Road toll statistics Queensland has had 180 road fatalities this year which is already more than 2019, 2017, 2016 and 2015. Its only September. Even with Coronavirus the road toll is 20% higher this year compared to last year and is up over 7% on the long run average. Fatigue related crashes are up over 8% compared to last year.

11.01.2022 If Queenslanders were ever in any doubt about the lengths Annastacia Palaszczuk is going to manipulate Coronavirus for political gain, this has put it to bed. To use 200 Queenslanders as Gabba guinea pigs at an AFL match shows Labor is completely out of touch. It is staggering double standards when people in Brisbane cant have more than 10 people in their home but Annastacia Palaszczuk wants to trial jamming people into a footy stadium.... This shows Labor is more interested in AFL footy stars than the health of everyday Queenslanders. Labor refuse to be upfront with Queenslanders about the details of their secret deal with the AFL.

10.01.2022 LNP FUNDING LIFELINE FOR QUEENSLAND SURF-LIFE SAVERS Friday, September 18, 2020 The LNP has pledged $3 million for Surf Life Saving Queensland to ensure the volunteers in red and yellow can keep beachgoers safe this summer....Continue reading

09.01.2022 LNP PLAN TO PROTECT RESOURCE JOBS FROM EXTREMISTS Tuesday, 22nd September 2020 The LNP is listening to Queenslanders who want access to safe, secure and reliable jobs during these trying economic times. ... A future Deb Frecklington LNP Government has tough anti-trespass laws that will protect workers and resource jobs from extremists who want to sabotage lawful resource businesses operating and employing locals. LNP Shadow Minister for Natural Resources and Mines Dale Last said that the LNP introduced the Criminal Code (Trespass Offences) Amendment Bill in 2019, in response to a surge in law-breaking actions by protesters threatening Queensland jobs.* The LNPs tough new laws are all about protecting resource jobs, Mr Last said. Under these laws it doesnt matter if you are an individual, a group, or an organisation, you will face severe punishments for industrial sabotage. Hefty fines and lengthy jail time are the only way to stamp out this disruptive, pre-meditated and sophisticated criminal behaviour. These laws were endorsed by the states peak industry body - the Queensland Resources Council - who understand the need to protect businesses and resource jobs**. Parliament never got to debate the LNPs tough new laws because the Palaszczuk Labor Government is anti-regions and anti-resources. Providing secure resource jobs and encouraging more investment is crucial to Queenslands economic recovery and only the LNP has a plan to deliver. Local resource jobs cannot be put at risk under a weak Palaszczuk Labor Government that is beholden to extremists who seek to destroy our resources sector. The LNP is the only party determined to protect jobs in the resources and farming industries by delivering tough new laws and stronger penalties. Only a Deb Frecklington LNP Government has a plan to supercharge our regions to get Queensland working again and deliver a decade of secure jobs. *LNP Trespass: Aggravated trespass: maximum of 3 years imprisonment or a maximum fine of 100 penalty units ($13,055) Serious Criminal Trespass: maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment or a maximum fine of 3000 penalty units ($391,650) Organised Trespass: maximum fine of 10 years imprisonment or 3000 penalty units ($391,650) ** https://www.qrc.org.au//qld-parliament-must-consider-both/

09.01.2022 The Palaszczuk Labor Government has introduced nine new and higher taxes. This is costing every Queenslander almost $800 and ripping $4 billion out of the economy. At the same time, Queensland has the worst unemployment rate in the nation. Change the government on 31 October.

08.01.2022 Labor refused to deliver a Budget. What are they hiding?

07.01.2022 Today the Prime Minister pleaded for compassion for a grieving daughter. Annastacia Palaszczuk ignored the plea. This is heartbreaking. It didnt have to be this way.

06.01.2022 TOUGH ON CRIME. !!!! LNP have a crime forum this week on this Thursday 17th September at 11.30 am. We will commit : An LNP Government will deliver an extra 170 police across Brisbane over the next four years. We will also establish dedicated taskforces to tackle gang crime and car-jackings because enough is enough.... The LNP will deliver more police and tougher laws to crackdown on crime and keep the community safe....

05.01.2022 DIRTY TACTICS. !!!! If someone shreds your election signs in the dark of night they can be identified thanks to night vision cameras. SILLY BOYS !!! We live in an age where many homes have closed circuit cameras showing the outside to residents properties. My election signs went out in force on the weekend and the electorate has been so supportive .... but there are more to come !!! Highways DO HAVE CAMERAS. If your car stops on the highway and occupants get out, the footage can be checked... placing childish signs on the highway isnt viewed favourably. Theres always somebody who doesnt play fair !! Have a good day everyone. Yvonne

05.01.2022 Annastacia Palaszczuk has been telling you it's the health advice that's dictating her government's COVID response. Turns out it's political polling, paid for w...ith your taxes. And while she was in your pocket, she took even more for government ads and her Labor cronies. Don't forget Labor's failures. On 31 October, change the government.

05.01.2022 LNP TO LIFT LABORS VEIL OF SECRECY ON STRADBROKE Thursday, 17 September 2020 An LNP Government will establish a Parliamentary Inquiry into the Palaszczuk Labor Governments secret land deal on North Stradbroke Island that is tearing the community apart and threatening pristine environment.... The secret development plan between Labor and the islands body corporate, the Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation, paves the way for the development of residential, industrial and resort development on the islands bushland. Labors secrecy and lack of consultation with the community is shocking, LNP Leader Deb Frecklington said. This secret land deal will have a major impact on the future of the island and the local residents who will be impacted most were left in the dark. The community has every right to be angry because the Labor Government is running roughshod over their island home. The LNPs Parliamentary Inquiry will get to the bottom of Labors secret deal and hold hearings on Stradbroke Island to give the community a powerful voice. The LNP will remove Labors veil of secrecy from this land deal. If the Palaszczuk Labor Government has nothing to hide, it should support our Parliamentary Inquiry. The LNPs Parliamentary Inquiry will be a bi-partisan Committee that will examine: The Indigenous Land Use Agreement which will be released to the members of the Parliamentary Committee Performance of the Indigenous Land Use Agreement The process and circumstances around the Temporary Planning Instrument over vast tracks of land now set for redevelopment The value of the deal with the Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation The Committees report will disclose to the public as much information as possible under a pro-disclosure principle. LNP Member for Oodgeroo Dr Mark Robinson said there was widespread community anger over the secret deal by Labor. The community has a right to know the details of Labors secret deal that potentially impacts hundreds of blocks across the whole island, Dr Robinson said. Labor has completely botched the transition plan for the North Stradbroke Island economy and this secrecy is making it worse. Jackie Trad and Labor have torn this island apart. This is all based on the still-secret ILUA negotiations of the past Bligh Labor Government. I am severely concerned pristine land on North Stradbroke Island zoned for conservation could simply be bulldozed. Many parcels of land are affected by bushfire, koala and protected vegetation overlays and significantly more consideration needs to be given to impacts. The community deserves better and the people of Queensland deserve better than Labor brokering secret deals behind their backs.

04.01.2022 TAXPAYERS PAY FOR LABORS PRE-ELECTION POLLING Wednesday 16 September, 2020 Statement from LNP Leader Deb Frecklington on revelations that Queensland taxpayers have funded pre-election polling for the Palaszczuk Labor Government:... For the Palaszczuk Labor Government to use hundreds of thousands of taxpayers dollars on polling is an absolute disgrace. With 234,000 Queenslanders out of work, this is proof that the only job Annastacia Palaszczuk cares about is her own. The Department of Premier and Cabinet's contract register shows Annastacia Palaszczuk spent $528,000 of taxpayers money on coronavirus polling. Annastacia Palaszczuk claims to be following the health advice but now it is clear it's all about politics and populism. The Labor party should repay the money to taxpayers today. In the last 6 months Labor has spent almost $6 million of taxpayers money on polling and advertising in a desperate bid to buy the election. NB: Details about the polling scandal were published in todays edition of The Australian.

04.01.2022 LNP GUARANTEE NO NEW TAXES Annastacia Palaszczuk refusing to rule out slugging Queensland businesses with more tax is sounding alarm bells for every employer and worker in Queensland. Last week Labors Treasurer also refused to rule out introducing new taxes indefinitely and couldnt say what the future holds. When Labor run out of money, they come after yours.... Queensland businesses have already been slugged by Labor with nine new taxes in this term of government and they wont rule out more. Labors taxes ripped almost $4 billion out of the economy and destroyed jobs and investment. No wonder Queensland had the highest unemployment rate, most bankruptcies and lowest businesses confidence in the nation all before coronavirus, leaving us vulnerable to external economic shocks. With almost 200,000 Queenslanders out of work and many businesses already on their knees, more taxes from Labor would be devastating. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland recently warned 54% of businesses indicated theyre concerned about their viability beyond 12 months. Increased taxes will cost more jobs, close more businesses and stop economic growth. The LNP has guaranteed no new taxes to rebuild businesses confidence, grow the economy, and create jobs. The LNP will drag Queensland out of recession by growing the economy, not taxing it like Labor. The LNPs no-new-tax guarantee is part of our plan to stimulate the economy, create a decade of secure jobs and drag Queensland out of this recession.

04.01.2022 Annastacia Palaszczuk has been telling you its the health advice thats dictating her governments COVID response. Turns out its political polling, paid for w...ith your taxes. 03.01.2022 LABOR DELIVERS MORE JOBS PAIN FOR QUEENSLAND Thursday, September 17, 2020 Shocking unemployment figures, which show Queensland has the second worst unemployment rate in the nation, have been released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics today.... Queenslands unemployment rate of 7.5 per cent was worse than Victoria, which is in Stage 4 lockdown. There are 197,500 Queenslanders on the unemployment queue. Since February 2020, more than 120,000 Queensland jobs have been lost. LNP Deputy Leader and Shadow Treasurer Tim Mander said Labor had no Budget and no plan for Queenslands economic recovery. Queensland had the nations worst unemployment rate in the nation before the coronavirus began, as well as the highest number of bankruptcies and the lowest business confidence, Mr Mander said. Because Labor cant manage the economy, nearly 200,000 Queenslanders are out of work while others have given up looking for a job as participation rates fall bucking the national trend. Queensland also continues to have the highest youth unemployment rate in the nation at 15.5% Being pipped by South Australia for the unemployment wooden spoon is nothing for Labor to be proud of. Labor are flying blind through the biggest economic crisis in almost a century. Only one party can provide the economic leadership Queensland needs. The LNP will start work on the drought-busting New Bradfield Scheme, invest in dams, roads and rail infrastructure to create jobs and we will guarantee no new taxes. The LNPs economic plan will create a decade of secure jobs and get Queensland working again. Only the LNP has a plan to stimulate the economy, create a decade of secure jobs and drag Queensland out of this recession. null

03.01.2022 Election day is here. Vote 1 LNP to get Queensland working again. Let's do this!

03.01.2022 QUEENSLAND BORDER RESTRICTIONS Sunday 13 September, 2020 Media statement from LNP Leader Deb Frecklington on comments made today by the Palaszczuk Labor Governments Health Minister:... The LNP supports strong borders and Queenslanders should ignore Labors election rhetoric. The LNP was the first party to call for border restrictions on Victoria when that state lost control of the virus. We have to have strong borders to protect Queenslanders, but we need consistency, compassion and common sense too. Labor are trying to distract from the unfair double-standards that Queenslanders keep seeing on border exemptions. We cant have one rule for AFL stars and celebrities and another rule for ordinary Queenslanders whose families are being torn apart. Annastacia Palaszczuk is using borders as a political weapon and is hiding behind the Chief Health Officer. Annastacia Palaszczuk is the Premier, she needs to own the decisions of her government.

02.01.2022 Only the LNP will get Queensland working again.

02.01.2022 REPORT IS PROOF LABOR IS A DIGITAL DISASTER ZONE Wednesday, September 23, 2020 A damning Auditor-General report released today serves as another reminder of Labors endless digital disasters that continue to rip-off Queensland taxpayers.... LNP Shadow Minister for Health Ros Bates said it was clear Labor hadnt learnt a thing a decade after their failed $1.25 billion health payroll debacle. This is yet another shocking example of Labors wasteful spending, Ms Bates said. The damning findings in the report are in addition to the $527 million in IT project blowouts under Labor. This is money that could have been spent on providing better health services. Wasting taxpayers money renaming hospitals and ongoing IT failures shows Labors priorities are all wrong. Its clear health IT projects and Labor just dont mix, and Queensland taxpayers continue to get ripped off. The LNP will treat taxpayers money with respect and stop Labors wasteful spending. The LNP will build a firewall that ensures Labors digital disasters are never repeated. We will insist that the Chief Information Officer works with government departments to produce mandatory project criteria. Departments will be compelled to provide more information about their decisions and conduct regular health checks as projects are rolled out. The Chief Information Officer will investigate project failures and ensure that lessons are learned. We will keep technology budgets on track and in the black. Every dollar Labor wastes is a dollar that cant be spent providing better health services or supporting jobs. What the report found: $33.5 million cost blow-out after the go-live date in August last year. $540 million of invoices to small business suppliers were paid late 14 of 16 Hospital and Health Services reported that the system didnt operate as they expected at go-live Millions of dollars of small business invoices were over 90 days late as at June this year. The new IT system does not automatically track PPE demand outside distribution centres Poor governance and accountability frameworks

02.01.2022 The LNP has a plan to rebuild Queensland's economy and create secure jobs. See our plan at https://lnp.org.au/

02.01.2022 Luke Howarth mentioned the state seat of Murrumba in Federal Parliament. More particularly he mentioned the candidates for the LNP running for state that make up his federal seat of Petrie. I was very proud when he mentioned my name. Here’s his comment ...

01.01.2022 Annastacia Palaszczuk needs to take responsibility, or resign.

01.01.2022 This is all we are asking for. We are talking about a young woman who just wanted to attend her fathers funeral and give her little sister and mum a hug. Sarah... wasnt allowed to do that. Shes in hotel quarantine after travelling from Canberra which hasnt had a case in over 60 days. Its heartless. Its abhorrent and Ive never seen anything like it. Were all Australians.
