13.01.2022 YWAM Foundational Value Number 6: Champion young people YWAM is based on championing young people and encouraging them to stand up and do their part in the church and the mission field. YWAM Broome strongly believes in this value as well and continues to champion young people everyday. As young people and older ones with young spirits join staff, we work to champion youth around town and in communities. We’re committed to value, trust, train, support, make space for and release youth in and around the Kimberley.

04.01.2022 TEAM TIME RACHEL is from England and is married to Tyler, another YWAM Broome staff. Rachel is the youth ministry leader for YWAM Broome. She enjoys being with people and taking walks. One of her favourite things is watching sunsets and her favourite fruit is mango.

04.01.2022 YWAM Foundational Value Number 5: Be visionary YWAM is called to be visionary, continually receiving, nurturing and releasing fresh vision from God. YWAM Broome has been born out of vision like this. The Lord has spoken such amazing plans for this base and the people it will touch. We’re excited to see where He take us as we continue to seek Him and what He holds for each day leading into the future.

03.01.2022 YWAM Foundational Value Number 4: Practice worship and intercessory prayer One of the main focuses of YWAM Broome during the pioneering days has been worship and intercessory prayer. Although YWAM Broome desires to live out all Foundational Values, this is one that the Lord spoke to have a huge focus on, so it’s a value close to our hearts. We’re thankful the Lord allows us to work alongside Him through intercessory prayer and being able to glorify Him through worship both in the big moments of our lives and the small details.

02.01.2022 YWAM Foundational Value Number 7: Be decentralized YWAM was founded on intentional decentralisation. The Lord spoke this strategy for a reason. YWAM works to be able to include people in the sharing of the Gospel and to be able to reach more people in that mission. Decentralisation works to give the opportunity for each individual YWAM base to take initiative in leadership roles and how things will run differently from base to base. This allows space for each base to work within their own cultures and serve the communities around them well. YWAM Broome is Christ-centered, faith-based, united by shared vision, core beliefs, foundational values, and relationships.
