12.01.2022 We can live in a collapsed posture and not know it. And it can take some time working with our body to get to feel and connect with a healthier way to stand on our axis in relation to gravity. Thank you to D for demonstrating in these photos her unchecked stance (on the left)-the one that feels natural to her- and her carefully self-adjusted stance (on the right) which she reports feels strange yet freer and more grounded. So here's the thing: we are not prisoner of our body habits. And with careful guidance, patience, slowing down and paying attention we can teach our body new tricks and learn to move with more freedom and ease. Yoga is great for that!!
