Theme of the evening was house bacon, runny eggs and even more bacon - on everything from Pickle Burgers to Blues Burgers and Mini Moos to Perrys infamous double cackleberry and bacon Fish Burger. Thanks to everyone for their patience and support and to Darci for the backup <3

23.01.2022 Kalgoorlie-Boulder has the BEST people! Even on a flat-out busy Friday night, everyone followed the new requirements, there was no bunching up while waiting outside, we had a few people try out the delivery-to-car option and also quite a few pre-ordering via messenger - you all really helped to make the process that much easier. So proud of our customers. <3 Now, if the whole of the country could behave with the same consideration and restraint, how good would that be? Reducing your contact with just one person could save dozens down the line. Reduce, reduce, reduce! <3

23.01.2022 Many thanks to our customers for their patience tonight. We were unexpectedly hammered for this time of year and ran late on a couple of batches. Our new trainee, Oscar, managed the chips and wrapping on his own and did really well for his first properly busy night. Abi, as always, was a star. We will be open again tomorrow night at 4.30 but Sunday is dependent on stock levels of our fish. I'll notify here when we know. Cheers!

19.01.2022 As most of our Shark customers know, it has been getting more and more difficult to source a good quality product. There is less and less on the market and the prices have soared. For the last five months we have absorbed these costs but our most recent stock has literally doubled in price since last year. Until/if ever the situation improves we will be costing our shark at the current market price. This may vary from time to time. Along with all of you, we do hope for a return to normality. Currently one serve of battered shark will be $12.00 and a sharkbox $14.50. Thank you!

15.01.2022 We will be back at it tonight - Wednesday. While restrictions permit, we will continue with our regular take-away menu. However, there will be changes to the way we operate to protect everyone involved as much as possible by reducing contact and for this we need your assistance. I apologise in advance for the length, but PLEASE read... There will be only ONE customer in the shop servery area at any one time. This means you will only be inside the shop to collect your order... and any waiting will be done outside. Groups are not acceptable, based on the 4 square metre rule. We have a large window. Look through the window and if there is another customer being served in the shop, DO NOT come in. Wait your turn outside. You are welcome to pay over the phone when placing your order. We also have eftpos available (with pay pass) and we DO accept cash. If the thought of coming into any internal public space worries you, please let me know on the phone when you order. We can do a phone payment, let us know your car reg number and we will bring the order out to the car. At least we have lots of parking space - after 5pm anyway. Several of the staff are in at-risk groups. For their protection we have face shields when working at the counter. We may look odd, but please be kind. As with anywhere else, if you are unwell or are actively sneezing or coughing, even if it is hayfever, DO NOT come into the shop. It is in our own best health interests to keep the premises as sanitised as possible. However, we will take no offence if you ask for an anti-bac wipe to clean down a chair or use the hand sanitiser after opening the fridge or using the eftpos machine. There will be no tables provided outside as you can no longer sit and eat. There will be chairs under the verandah - spaced at the recommended 1.5 metres. You may sit and watch us from there. 09.01.2022 I challenged myself last night - it has been quite a while since I have attempted a full-size burger - Beef with the lot plus beetroot and pickles with pickle sauce. As expected, I failed and only managed to eat half but gosh it was bloody good! Respect to all those who can put these away and I am in awe of anyone that can finish a Messy Bessy or Fish Burger! <3

As above but pay over the phone and request delivery to your car, passenger side only. We have street and verge parking available. A great option for regulars who rarely change their order - Message me your order through messenger. Your order, preferred time (we work on quarter hour blocks), salt or vinegar etc, pho...ne contact. This service cuts off at 3pm as I cannot guarantee seeing your message once at the shop. If you would like delivery to your car, please ask and I will call you back with a price after 4pm and arrange pay over the phone. Since last weekend we had a steady flow of pre-bookings and then today we were amazed when we had all our fish allocated before we even opened the doors. We are grateful for the consideration shown by our customers for the one-customer-inside-at-a-time rule and the good-humour shown over whether one Skippy or two makes up 1.5 metres. You are the best.
