24.01.2022 It's been an interesting few months, so we interviewed some of our fam to find out what they've been doing and learning! Claire Gomolla (Mademoiselle of First Impressions - Senior Sales Manager) Q: What's something new you learnt during this 'lockdown' period?... A: As I've been working night shifts during COVID-19, I've been living at night while everyone else is sleeping, which can be socially isolating especially during a lockdown. Its made me realise the importance of keeping in touch with loved ones. Dont forget genuine human connections during these crucial times, be humble and look after each other. Focus on empathy in these complex times to grow closer and stronger than ever. Q: What do you do to "spark joy" in your life during quarantine? A: I've replaced my gym sessions with at-home and equipment-free workouts. It also helps me to keep my spirits up during these challenging times. Adam Taloni (Master of the House - General Manager) Q: What do you do to "spark joy" in your life during quarantine? A: Netflix, wine & long walks with my Groodle Hugo Q: What is the FIRST thing you will do when life returns to normal? A: Netflix, wine & walks with my dog but enjoy these with friends! Also TRAVEL. It has been way too long especially to pop home and see my family.

24.01.2022 We have our winners After going through (and admiring!) all the amazing entries for our REAWAKENING Wall Art Competition and a careful selection process, we are extremely pleased to reveal the winners: WINNER: Manda Lane (IG: @mandalaneart)... RUNNER UP: Jack Freeman (IG: @freosart) We are also delighted to announce that both Manda and Jack will receive the prize given the very close final decision. Manda's artwork will be displayed on our external wall in the coming weeks (dependent of the level of restriction at the time), followed by Jack's early next year. It was a difficult decision as we received so many inspiring and unique entries from some very talented artists. We are honestly so lucky to have such exceptional local talents right here within our state! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated and for all your patience when our state returned to lock-down, as it greatly impacted our day-to-day operations and left us no choice but to delay the winner selection process. This is only the beginning! At Zagame's House we love art and are always looking for ways to support local talent, providing a platform especially for up & coming artists to share their work with the world. "Zagames House was recognised and highly commended for its entry, with judges bestowing second place on the boutique Melbourne property." The design for Zagame's House was a collaboration between the Zagame team and Lukas Partners. We couldn't be happier with the outcome that is now ...our fabulously unique hotel on Lygon Street in Carlton, on the fringe of the Melbourne CBD.
