25.01.2022 Looking for a single person or couple with complimentary skills to swap accom for carpentry, easy maintenance jobs and gardening. Our little residency/retreat cabin is available over Winter and Spring. It’s homely and rustic, with a cosy fire and heaps of northern light. Caravan included as an extra room. Looking for single person or couple with work or project over the coming months, wanting a private space in a creative environment on our shared property. Especially suited to someone used to living out of town, managing their own wood supply and at ease with an upcycled approach to life. No pets please as we have great dogs and many many roos on the property. 5 mins from town and beach. Ring Margot to discuss 0420940123.

13.01.2022 Hi folks, it’s been a long time between posts. We’ve had a huge year and our little Zani Place has been a hive of activity in creative projects by multiple artists, who also double as gardeners, healers and renovators. We’ve had a couple of enquiries about the residency or space to park and camp so we thought it best to let everyone know, we’re full house and have been all year. Over summer we are on over flow capacity with family and close friends. It’s a bizarre time with b...orders opening and closing, trapping international backpackers and interstate artists here - and with Western Australians either unable to travel to work or having job insecurity. Many are choosing Margaret River as their safe haven, and we are honoured to have hosted some really brilliant artists including these legends - all of whom have paid their way by working on the place and contributing big time to our own creative projects. We feel very lucky. We wish you all the best for 2021 and we’ll certainly post here if we have availability in the future. I hope you enjoy our Zani map that Margs drew for Gez’s Mum on her 100th bday in November Ps. thanks Jack - I nicked your lovely pic See more

09.01.2022 Introducing Zani resi iso mob ... coppersmith artist, Gee Ashdown; boro glassblower, Jake Ashmore - both from south west England; and our own budding WA herbalist and naturally gifted grower of gardens, Tamara Clements. Over the last three months of isolation and recovery at Zani Place, we’ve had these three brilliant creative souls working alongside us ... on the grounds, gardens and renovations, while all pursuing their individual creative practice as well. They have made... our experience of these weird months, such a joyous productive time and we thank each of them from our toes to our beanies for the love, laughter, friendship, inspiration and bloody hard work they’ve brought and shared in abundance. We aim to do a feature post on each of them over the next two weeks before Jake and Gee head north in the van for on-the-road adventures... See more
