25.01.2022 This necklace was inspired by a dear friend of mine (hello, Natalie) who sent me the vintage purse, as she thought I could do something nifty with it. After much deliberation and accessorising the purse itself, I scaled it all back to just reveal the lovely play of light on the surface.
25.01.2022 Denmark Arts Market were on last Saturday and my goodness, what a glorious day it was! There was such a feeling of joy and happiness in the air. The weather was spectacular with a gentle breeze ruffling the leaves above and the sunlight dappling on the river. Everyone seemed in good spirits and I had a wonderful day of sales and enthusiasm. Thanks to all those who attended and visited. The Denmark Arts Market is on again on Sunday, the 27th of January. Hope to see you there!
22.01.2022 Only 3 more sleeps until the Denmanrk Arts Festival and Market get to experience Zante Jewels! Well, that is a big sell! But, we will be there so come on down to the gorgeous town of Denmark and have a wonderful pre-Christmas weekend!

07.01.2022 Zante Jewels is proud to be attending the Denmark Arts Market on 8th December. Come down for all the excitement of a massive pre-Christmas celebration of consumerism and goodies! (c'mon ladies, we truly do like consumerism - especially when purchased for ourselves!) I'll be under the shade somewhere (without a tent) and sharing with The Renaissance Woman.
07.01.2022 Getting ready for the Denmark Arts Market on Saturday (5th Jan) and was using my neighbours jigsaw to cut boards for display when the screw fell off. Getting it back together took for ever (well, about 45 mins), so I was glad to get it back working. With just 3cm left to cut on the first board, sparks flew out and the jigsaw died - permanently. So, I took to my friends sewing machine to finalise some products (mine is in need of a surgeon), and ended up breaking 5 needles on the plate that had moved fractionally. Sitting, drumming my finger, contemplating hand-sewing, when I realised there was still a needle in my machine! Thank goodness! So come down to the markets from 10-4 this Saturday to check out the latest (and most annoying) display!

01.01.2022 the Denmark Arts Market was on this past Saturday and it was a glorious day! The atmosphere was filled with joy and happiness, the sunlight shone gently through dappled shade from large trees and excitement filled the air. Waterbirds swam expectantly upon the beautiful river, kids jumped into it's cooling waters when the sun warmed up after lunch while the bands played against a backdrop like no other. Stallholder discussed their wares and exchanged ideas, food vendors called out their produce. Coffee grinder and fruit blenders buzzed deliciously amongst the chatter of families. I had a wonderful day and met some terrific people. Thanks to all those who attended and visited and made it such a fabulous experience.
01.01.2022 well, the Denmark Arts market was a roaring success! I met some delightful people and had a wonderful time. The beautiful "turquoise nugget on old gold" necklace caught the eye of one passerby and was happily "sponsored" to return to society. Nicky has big plans of showing Turquoise around Melbourne (lucky nugget!) very soon and we at Zante Jewels are looking forward to the photos of the two of them (Nicky and Nugget) out on the town!
