21.01.2022 Absolute * Dream Team * There really is something amazing about working with Clients who line up all their ducks; videographer, photographer, products, styled shoots, copy, rebranding. THIS is what building a brand takes. Especially when it comes to selling products.... It takes a team of creatives to make a Brand, and a commitment from the business owner to invest into making the Brand amazing! I am so grateful to work with organised, appreciative and passionate business owners like @conscious_calendar_co you make my job not a job, but something I absolutely love getting out of bed for! 18.01.2022 What are you willing to risk? When I saw this saying recently it really hit home. When I look back on the amazing experiences I have had both in business and away from the Laptop, there have definitely been times where I decided to risk it, to go ‘all-in’ and this didn’t mean I put my SUV + Harley as collateral for an underground Poker game. ( I suck at Poker BTW so that’d be a dumb AF idea anyway)... Most of the time what I was *risking* is my Pride, a f*ckload of emotion + heart, judgement of myself + from others. And most of all, the shittest F word of all. failure. But when you replace *Risking* with *INVESTING* | alot of times, the payoff is f*cking unreal. I have had alot of ups-and-downs. Yes things haven’t worked out, (I wouldn’t say failed) but I have learnt something out of every experience, those things that haven’t worked out, have lead me to things that have. And if it’s love or business, you can’t sit back and complain that nothing works out, or your not attracting clients, or falling in love - If you are not willing to TAKE A RISK **

17.01.2022 BRAND One of my favourites to-date. This beautiful Brand combination consists of a timeless font combination, modernising the concept of a Naturopath. The beautiful, one-line sub mark is a clear representation of the focus Taylah has for her clients, highlighting health and treatments based around gut and hormones in women. ... The colour palette was left quite broad with a feminine colour combination which I will showcase in another post - think blush pink, sand and ochre. Hit me with your fav emoji if you love it!!

12.01.2022 Building Badass Brands - the why.. So, what does badass mean to me, and why have I built my rebrand around to word. To me, the meaning is: In spite of any challenge, a badass gives doubt the middle-finger and summons courage & confidence to achieve their wildest dreams.... A badass to me doesn’t have to be the conventional leather wearing, Harley-riding (although.. I do ride a Harley), give-no-fucks kinda jerk with no regard for anyone else. Absolutely the contrary. My badass-ness comes from: Surviving cancer. Pushing past my own doubts to achieve in life and business. Ignoring my fears around judgement from assholes and doing the ’thing’ anyway, because in my heart of hearts I knew that that ’thing’ would make me happy or at least I could say I tried. Surviving absolute heartbreak. I mean it when I say, trying to run your own business, and put on a happy face + be creative when you have had your heart cracked in two, is no easy feat that required so much resilience and strength I look back now and still don’t know how I did it. Pushing every god-damn day to achieve even when there is no *direct* cheer-squad in site and not only that, but zero guarantees that what I am striving for will even pay off, but I get up and do it anyway because the thought of going back to a 9-5, makes me want to cry. That to me is badass. Ok alright, and yes I ride a Harley, but that is totally *Optional* to be a badass! So, If I’m building Badass Brands, how am I doing that? Simple I empower you and your badass brand with modern, intentional design + education with the knowledge and commitment to overcome challenges, to show up for our customers/clients and to acknowledge where we have come from, in order to honour our true calling, our path and our kick-arse journey into the future. 06.01.2022 Scorpio Season it’s my birthday on Sunday and what better way to shout it from the rooftops than to create a killer moodboard! Star signs relate so much to Branding! If you are into Astrology, you’ll understand the moment someone mentions ‘oh they’re a Leo’, you could get eye rolls or loveheart eyes depending on your assumptions, ideas and past experiences. Good Branding works in the same way, where your name only needs to be mentioned or you’re content viewed, or Log...o seen, or caption read, and instantly your vibe and what you’re about is expressed or experienced. THAT IS BRANDING. And while I’m here, lemme tell you about being a Scorpio. We are passionate and intense, fiercely loyal, secretive & mysterious. We love hard, when we finally decide to open up. It’s the spark I feel when I think about making myself a coffee taking Teddy for a walk while listening to my fav song on repeat it’s getting comfy in my office chair, starting my fav podcast (@milehigherpod ) and filling my day with being creative... the feeling of helping my clients reach new heights, solving challenges and ENABLING their successes in some small way.
