12.01.2022 A gathering of some of Western Australia's top chefs who utilise native flavours came together at South Regional TAFE Albany Campus last week to educate industr...y as part of a series of Prepare Produce Provide events. KAATAJIN NGALAK MERING DANJO meaning "learning about food together" was a collaboration bringing together the talents of Paul Iskov from Fervor, Melissa Palinkas from Young George, Spencer Drygan, Joshua Flatow and Rohan Park, led by David Gilmour and Cath MacDougall. Each dish was paired with a different local wine generously donated by members of the Great Southern Wine group and presented by Rob from Wignalls Winery. The pilot event supported by Tourism Western Australia and City of Albany was a great success with plans to go bigger and better next year, again hosted by Prepare Produce Provide in collaboration with South Regional TAFE. A special thank you to local businesses Harvey Beef, Mt Barker Free Range Chicken, Wilson Brewing Company, Duke's Vineyard, Zarephath Wines Vineyard & Cafe, Wignalls Winery, Plantagenet Wines and Lowboi Wines for generously contributing their exceptional produce to the evening.
