25.01.2022 I was pleasantly surprised by Amanda nIsabel and Bushkas sweet treats with the most amazing birthday cake, it was very thoughtful and very much appreciated. If your looking for a fantastic cake maker check them out on Facebook.

25.01.2022 Ian asked me to do up a small but meaningful memorial on his Indian motorcycle for his Dad who had passed. Its nice to have little reminders of the people whove added value to our lives.

25.01.2022 Good progress on some custom engine covers, definitely help get rid of the Monday blues.

25.01.2022 There’s always bigger jobs on the go at the workshop that take awhile to do. The job Steve has of cleaning up & repainting this Camaro is one of them. I’ve been putting my apprenticeship pants on & fine tuning skills from Steven Kruik, who is always a wealth of knowledge. Never stop learning, there’s always something you don’t know or need to improve on. Learning the art of making a car truly, straight before any paint hits the panels is an art form in itself & Steve is a master at it. Cheers for sharing your knowledge bro. Also, the Falcon bonnet shows the correct way to prepare a skin before it’s put back together to stop rust between panels.

25.01.2022 Over the years through contracting and working for myself Ive had the privilege to work on a variety of cool projects from full custom paint jobs , restorations and race paint. Im all about giving everything Ive got to a project no matter what it is. Theres some interesting and exciting developments to come so watch this space.

24.01.2022 The last part of the puzzle for Robs Game of Thrones bike was to fix up his old helmet to match the rest of the bike by adding another classic character The Hound and some chaos in the background.

23.01.2022 Making old bikes look new again always has a great feeling to it. In the current times giving your old bike a new lease on life is almost as good as a new one but for a fraction of the cost.

21.01.2022 Robs bike is all finished, after a very upsetting incident that happened with the bike being badly damaged due to unknown persons jealousy at a local bike show. We decided to change some things to give it a new lease on life and Its always good to catch up with Rob as it had been way too long.

20.01.2022 All fitted up and ready for a careful installation lol. Have a great Friday

19.01.2022 Kerions tank is coming along nicely, the basic layout is done. Next is to add the colour, a background and some final details.

19.01.2022 Over the years I’ve painted a few Ford Mustang deck lids for James Trevor Price and this one was special. James spent twenty eight years in Australian Defence Force & wanted something to represent the Paratrooper Regiment. He liked the WW2 theme, so I came up with a fictional scene of a paratrooper raid. Cheers mate I really appreciate the on going support over the years.

17.01.2022 Some gold metal flake on a Saturday , this is just the starting procedure,...the joys of getting it perfectly flat without any flakes poking through means it all gets carefully sanded and re clear coated multiple times. My opinion is always that it takes what it takes to do a job correctly.

17.01.2022 Kerion came in to get his tank redone after it had been damaged from a fuel contamination problem. As I hadnt painted the bike originally I had to match up the colours and flames and then gave him a custom mural centre piece to finish it all off. Cheers mate, it was a great challenge. Big thanks to my bro Steven Kruik for the awesome panel beating too.

16.01.2022 I did this cool Expendable’s logo for Neville as a Father’s Day present on his dads Yamaha a month ago. A coat of Oriental Blue Candy over the artwork gives it a nice moody effect.

16.01.2022 Ive found the journey to get a job right usually starts with fixing or redoing other peoples bad work lol. Ive spent many an hour redoing the fibreglass on Pauls track bike so the panels meet up and they arent under so much pressure that the fibreglass cracks. The process continues by using the correct primer for fibreglass and putting every part on and off multiple times until the jobs lining up and looking sharp. A heap of sanding, some more primer and some pretty candy blue paint highlights the work put in. Then some more sanding and then a long day of taping,..its a time consuming process but if at any stage something is not approached correctly the end result will just not look right or fit well. Do it once and do it correctly thats my motto.

16.01.2022 Fixing up Ducatis seems to be a thing I do a lot of, mainly thanks to Bevan and the great team at Eurotwins and their customer base. I enjoy working for small businesses, as you get to know people rather than them just being a source of income. Cheers guys

15.01.2022 The blue beast is home safely and ready for the next track day. After the paint had cured I applied 3M paint protection film to keep stone rash damage down to a minimal. It was a big job but Im really happy how it turned out.

15.01.2022 The next bike for some artwork is a beautiful custom green pearl chopper.

14.01.2022 Some skulduggery for Thursday, I got Steven Kruiks skills onto pulling out and metal filing a decent size dent out. I then bare steeled the tank removing some hidden patches of rust that you dont get the opportunity to fix if you just do whats easiest and leave the old paint on. A fresh coat of paint, then matching the old pinstripes and a custom reaper , its looking new again and ready for the guys at QBR to put back on the bike. I also put a matching skull on the front fender as a separate job from the insurance work on the tank , just so it matches the new murals on the tank.

13.01.2022 Preparation is key to any successful job no matter what the substrate is. Steve has been getting Dans newly fabricated fibreglass bonnet ready for his drag car. Using the correct primer on fibreglass glass is essential to not having ugly sink back and other problems commonly associated with glass. There is no short cuts and it is not a single stage procedure everything needs to be block sanded and treated with care from the start to the finish, its all finish primed and ready for sanding and some topcoats.

13.01.2022 Being absolutely amazing at your job is fantastic, but most people who reach this type of level can tend to have an extremely high opinion of themselves. My bro Steve is the complete opposite, hes one of the most well rounded tradesmen Ive ever worked with and is also so humble. Steve and the old crew from Muscle Car Rival built this beauty about ten years ago, I watched this car come to life while painting custom choppers at the same shop.

13.01.2022 Doing the final details on my good friends rear fender before some shiny stuff this afternoon.

12.01.2022 About a month ago Damo @ Masterart Designs got me in to do a job for his Dad whos also a specialist in signage and graphics on trucks. They both do fantastic work and it was nice to do something on a larger scale. Their customer wanted a mural of one of his most trusted drivers and friend who sadly passed away in 2018. This new Kenworth is a rolling memorial and is a nice way to keep someones spirit alive.

11.01.2022 Every job you do has a customer behind it, they usually become a friend and someone you get to know more personally over time. Please remember in these hard times ahead to do your part, be a part of the solution not part of the problem. Those with chronic illness, the elderly, those at risk could be your friend or family that suffer because an idiot doesnt think its worth taking seriously. Look after yourself out there, both physically and mentally, if we all stick together we will eventually win, no doubt whatsoever, keep on fighting.

11.01.2022 Steve finished up Dans bonnet and its ready to fly down the drag strip. The original car was panel and painted by Steve about ten years ago and still looks awesome.

09.01.2022 The team at Quality Bike Repairs - QBR got me in to airbrush some skull and roses on a cool Sporty that they had painted a nice black ice pearl. It’s always good to work with others in the industry, cheers Mandy.

09.01.2022 Rod builds some awesome RC race boats, this fully carbon fibre beast is seriously cool. He made the mould himself and had Micks Race Composites do up the fantastic carbon work. Now with the extra graphics it looks like its moving before its even in the water.

06.01.2022 When Sam got in contact with me about painting his Vulcan in an Anzac memorial theme I thought it was a great idea. Both Sam and his father served in the Australian infantry. The two poppies on the side represent him and his fathers service and Sam wanted to incorporate his Australian punisher badge into the design as well. The guys at Team Moto Kawasaki did a fantastic job of supplying the bike and also putting everything back together safely. Even with Sam in NSW we managed to get the design exactly how he wanted it and he let me have a large amount of artistic license. Thanks mate for your patience and also the service that you and your father did for this country.

06.01.2022 The old tank was not a happy camper so a replacement tank was needed. After the new tank was stripped and everything matched up, including the original Harley colour, pinstripes and 100 anniversary badge, its good as new and ready for fitting.

06.01.2022 Shane came in to see if I could do my rendition of a picture he had on his ph. He wanted it to show his proud Aboriginal heritage as well as his Anglo Australian side. I think it looks pretty trick on his engine cover and it was a challenge to have the image wrap over so many types of curves.

04.01.2022 Wednesday night progress on some cool mustang covers with a tribute to the late great Arthur Beetson.

03.01.2022 A little work in progress picture, some more details and Harley Davidson badges time come.

02.01.2022 While Steve did some fabrication work at his workshop on an ongoing chopper build,..I block sanded parts and got them in primer for next week, no rest for the wicked.
