25.01.2022 Zebra Crossing Uniquities will be open tonight (Friday 12th) with a ""super flash sale"" on all our furniture and collectibles. While picking up dinner from Liza White’s Supervan why not call in, see Mel, and decide on something to immediately take away.

Furniture Hint: Old chrome frame chairs can be refreshed by cleaning with soapy steel wool and finishing with WD40 and fine steel wool (also good for maintaining the chrome). Clean up the old vinyl with a nail brush and sugar soap

22.01.2022 Zebra Crossing Uniquities has now closed its doors at the shop. Mel and Hilton wish to thank our clients and friends who have made it a very interesting and busy two years in retail, but we are now ready for new ventures. Contact Mel if you wish to discuss creative furnishings or to locate that unique piece of furniture. Contact Hilton to advise on restoring that piece of furniture, repairing an important broken chair or painting a special item.

22.01.2022 Zebra Crossing Uniquities is back for 2016. Over the break this garden seats was finished to be ready for this new year. It is constructed from an old bed head and would be a feature in your garden. Another old bed garden seat is in the photo album. Saturday morning is when Zebra is open in Scone.

22.01.2022 Enjoy the sunshine and relax on this fresh cane setting. This 2 seater has been painted, the new cushions are covered in an outdoor fabric, subtle pink, lime green and grey stripe. Also available is the matching glass top coffee table. On Saturday, Zebra Crossing Uniquities will be open.

22.01.2022 Zebra Crossing Uniquities have a few unrestored old pieces at the moment. Sets of drawers, a kitchen dresser that is suitable for storage, book shelf and old steel frame beds. Open Thursday around lunchtime and again on saturday morning.

13.01.2022 Winter is here, this selection of fire grates will be at Zebra Crossing Uniquities tomorrow, Saturday. All these grates have been finished in Pot Belly Black. The fire pit basket is steel on a base. The fire place grates are cast iron and heavy, ready for a fire or enhance an open fireplace as these grates are in good condition and look great.

Enamel paint is tough, resists hand marks on chair arms and is much easier to refinish again in 25 years time.

04.01.2022 Yard Seat. Comfortable now in the sun or place under a tree in the summer season. This interesting seat has been recrafted from an antique bed made with a cypress pine seat. The old steel frame will last another 100 years with no maintenance. This seat will be outside Zebra Crossing Uniquities on Saturday morning.
