These are good examples typical of the Kara deposit some with garnet accessories or calcite , quartz . 10.01.2022 Winter prospecting in the Stanley River a Main tributary of the Pieman , historic reports have suggested small Sapphire were seen in tin sluicing operations on the Livingston Flat Stanley River tin field from about 1910 through to the early 1920ties . This is a very remote area and hasn’t been thoroughly tested .
