23.01.2022 Visiting the old city of Akko, a UNESCO world heritage site with fortresses, knights halls, churches , synagogues, and mosques, built by the Canaanites and Romans to the Crusaders and Turks. There is a market, fortress, tunnels and port, only uncovered accidentally in the 1960s and still being dug out.

19.01.2022 Amazing views today looking out from where Moses stood onto the promised land. Israel in the distance, the Dead Sea to the left. Our lunch stop looking over the amazing valleys was perfect, followed by a visit to the Karak castle, sitting upon the rocks and used in the Crusades as a strong point of defence by the Crusaders against the Muslims.

12.01.2022 The tour to Nagaland - Passage to the North East has begun with a wonderful stay in Kolkata and first day tour of the old cemetery, built to cater for the many British citizens and officials. Then onto the Queen Victoria Museum, a very grand building, housing many original military weapons and equipment. Following lunch we headed to the Kolkata Museum, which houses a vast archeological collection of stone carvings daring from 300BC.
