25.01.2022 When youre just married and you know exactly how lucky you are #thesearethemoments #zenawarriorcelebrant

24.01.2022 Dale & Wisa Shitty iPhone pic gone. Replaced by a beautiful capture from @nicholetaylorphoto - #darwinweddings

22.01.2022 Pick a special place (this oak tree on Merri Creek is majestic - @collingwoodchildrensfarm ), add your closest people (as many or as few you as you choose) , entrust a floral artist like @ to bring your colourful vision to life (always give them space to get creative), find some one who can share your story, in your way (my fave part!) & capture every second of it to look back on (@coreywrightphotographer has you covered!) #getmarriedyourway

22.01.2022 Gaby + Kate. Married on the 19.9.19 on alpaca farm in the Otways. 22.01.2022 Jules & Richard quietly married in their backyard on Friday evening surrounded by 16 of their loved ones. Whilst their favourite people got into Richards epic liquor collection they snuck out for some cheeky sunset snaps at East Point with @nicholetaylorphoto Hair & MU by @becbrownhairandmakeup #simpleceremonies

21.01.2022 They say your vibe attracts your tribe & the same is true on your wedding day, particularly during the ceremony... if youre having the BEST time ever your guests will be there right along side you - fun, loving energy is infectious! Soooo excited to catch up with these two at a wedding on NYE, as you can see they definitely bring the partayyyyyy #daddancemoves @jannekestorm

21.01.2022 Mark & Rosie got together when they were seventeen...Twelve years later they are still head over heels for each other! It is is ridiculously cute! The love they have for one another overflows and affects everyone in their presence. It is really beautiful to witness. You just know that they will still have the same pure happiness in each other's company when they are old & grey. And when it's time to depart this life they're the kind of couple who will likely do it in quick succession cos they belong together. #magicmoments Pic by the awesome and equally talented @withlovefromnearandfar

21.01.2022 Two years of Marriage Equality to be celebrated AND two very special men to be acknowledged (along with all the other incredible staff at Sircuit too, ofcourse and one very special Mollie-because, always). Today JOY FM live broadcasted from @sircuitbar & @molliesbaranddiner to celebrate Y2Yes. 2 years ago when the Yes vote happened Mollie's was open 20 hours a day across four days because they wanted to make sure, whatever the outcome, the community had somewhere to gather. 1...0 years ago when Sircuit opened, it had a men's only licence and no signage. It was a discreet place where men could truly be themselves, that's what the community needed at the time. Today it is one of the biggest gay venues in Melbourne and certainly one of its loudest voices. Women are welcome everyday, because the needs of the community have shifted. It is a place of inclusivity, kindness and activism on behalf the whole LGBTQIA+ and at the heart of it all are some excellent humans, whom I love dearly. Marrying my two former bosses was an absolute honour! Sircuit and Mollie's are a home away from home for people. I love telling people this story. It's one of my favourites. 19.01.2022 Did I ever tell you about the time some think outside the box folks chose to get married whilst floating down the river on inflatable fruits?! Favourite exerts of books were read at the top of the river, vows were exchanged in the shallows half way down and paperwork (+snacks) were completed once the loop was done and we were back on dry land. There are no words for how GREAT this was - It was such a playful, joyous adventure - Id love to do it again (though not right now!) Keen? Just holla, imma waiting. #weddingfloat #warburton @ Warburton, Victoria

18.01.2022 Danny & Amelia, young sweethearts who chose to part ways as friends so they could travel and experience what life has to offer. Little did they know years later they'd come back together. In her vows Amelia noted 'I always knew you would need a strong woman to stand beside you, I just never thought it was going to be me'. LIFE HEY! These two are the bees knees and theirs was the most beautiful DIY country affair. Beautifully captured by @white_shutter_photography - cannot wait to show you Amelia's veil

18.01.2022 Everyone gets married in their own way : I LOVE that Amelia isnt in white, her dress is not floor length, that they didnt have a long engagement just so they could be married in the summertime & I especially love that they let their loved ones pelt colourful streamers at them! Im not saying there is anything wrong with any of those choices but based on what Seb & Amelia created I feel like they would have been wrong for them. And thats the point.... you just gotta make it your own. Wedding rules are dead people. Tick a few boxes and say two minutes worth of wording. The rest is whatever you want it to be..... Epic capture by @anna_t_photo Epic venue @gatherandtailor

17.01.2022 At Jim Jim with Jim. This guy has landed and he is currently off kayak fishing with @muelfred . Sam and @kate_leah_ren have, as always, been the most incredible generous friends - taking us on adventures, sharing everything they have, introducing us to great people @cardly @liam.k.mcmanus and even taking cheeky photos so that I didnt have to think about it! Another thing I love about these two is that they are always acknowledging indigenous culture and sharing what they learn. We are on Mirarr country and Jim Jim Falls means water pandanus in Gundjeihmi

16.01.2022 On Friday I had the absolute privilege of performing the marriage of two very special men in my life. I worked with Chris & Keller for many years at their gay bar Sircuit. Sircuit really is a home for the community and working there shaped me immensely. It led me to become a celebrant in the first place. Being invited into people's lives is always an honour but this one hit me deep in the heart. Particularly seeing Chris' mum Mollie walk him down the aisle... This was quite possibly the highlight of it all. raw capture by @xfliam (cos i can't wait for edits)

16.01.2022 Oh my gosh, I got pics back from these two last night and they are just beyond... Neil & Callum married in January in a beautiful sparse yoga studio. See the little maple leaves in the corner; these are from the maple tree that will grow in the garden of their future home. Thats all the decoration the space needed (on top of their amazing family tartan kilts, ofcourse!) Callums fam are from the UK & NZ so it was a very international affair but they kept their day super local to their Preston home. Married @prana_house And the reception at Preston Town Hall. This amazing capture is from @larrylawsonphotography and they were lucky enough to have the immensely talented @lunar_red_films video the day too! #memoriesthatlast

16.01.2022 NICK & JAC : Sharing the post ceremony high vibes with their fave people. These two were clearly made to do life together. It's damn lovely to witness. ... Pic by the lovely @mirandastokkelweddings #melbournewedding #lanewaywedding #weddingcrew

16.01.2022 Elle & Aaran's AMAZING wedding is up on the @hellomay website now! there was so much toive about their day the enlisted an amazing list of suppliers and locations to bring it all together. But I still remember it for how much they giggled and played every step of the way, took it all in their stride and were so appreciative of the people they got share it with. PLUS all the fun hashtags they came up with #ellecaughtamullett Mullet is great surname. OK and last thing, Ell...e designed her own wedding dress, it was whimsical, ethereal and entirely different to what everyone else is wearing at the moment which I loved! #couplegoals . 15.01.2022 I've snuck North to sunny Qld this week to marry Jenna & Jase, at the most stunning property (my shitty pictures won't do it justice!)! Ken is a designer so everything was I met these two last year at Jenna's brother Adam's wedding. So it was such an honour to be invited by Jase & Jen to be a part of their day as well! Adam is pretty stoked toi as it is his & Stevie's one year anniversary next week, so he now has a built in reminder from Jase every year that it's nearly anniversary time. #brothers #teamwork

15.01.2022 The pure elation that is receiving a thoughtful gift. When someone (Neil!) gives you a bottle of their home brewed gin your hands go straight to you heart. It tasted and the gesture made me melt captured by @larrylawsonphotography #smallactsofkindness

14.01.2022 We keep things real simple at @idodrivethruweddings. Think registry weddings but snappier words and better locations. My grandfathers suitcase does t just keep the paperwork dry and from flying away; it doubles as a signing table too. We are efficient like that. ... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #marriagecelebrant #marriagecelebrants #celebrant #celebrants #celebrantlife #marriageceremony #weddingceremony #sayingvows #vows #marriage #ceremony #instawedding #instawed #congrats #married #celebration #celebrate #congratulations #forever #civilcelebrant #melbournewedding #melbourne #bride #australia #melbourneiloveyou #weddingday #weddingdress #melbournelife #melbournewedding #melbourneweddings See more

12.01.2022 Last night just hanging on the couch with a couple of gorgeous Brazilians & their kitty cats making it official after ten years together! #married

12.01.2022 I am really proud to be an ambassador for an amazing eco-ethical website called @less_stuff_more_meaning that aims to encourage couples to be mindful how they consume on their wedding day. Laura and Chris are conscious to live this way every day life so brought those same values to their day. You can read all about their approach on the @less_stuff_more_meaning blog. It was so nice to read this article and relive their heart centered day minus the fluff @aesthetephotographyco

11.01.2022 Sarah + Rhys : Just a coupla nacho loving sweethearts, who found a cute little hall in the Dandenongs and put on the most beautiful DIY affair. All class & super organised. They finished setting up at 4.30pm the day before. So civilised. The best thing about hiring community halls is the cute old furniture that comes with it. Add delicious catering from @fatandskinnycatering and a selection of expertly made drinks from @thelittlebarcart and you've got yourself one helluva good time. Kids included. #diywedding #dandenongweddings #melbournecelebrant

11.01.2022 Introducing Mr & Mrs Wagdin - by each other's side since they were 17 years old. Back when Emma had bleach blonde hair & Michael had no dress sense. 11& 1/2 years later some things have changed - Michael is looking sharp & we are all lusting after Emma's gorgeous hair but some things haven't... They are still cute AF & one of the most committed couple's you'll ever meet, both to each other and to being individuals with in their relationship. It's really inspiring to witness. #countryweddings #newlyweds #firstloves #melbourbecelebrant #youngmelbourneecelebrant #zenawarriorcelebrant

08.01.2022 Covid weddings - standing on the edge of the world at Red Bluff lookout was quite a fun little mission! The tides were nipping at the cliffs so it was a scramble up/ the wind was doing its thing so I was conscious to project my voice enough so the German guests on zoom had even the slightest chance of hearing the ceremony and I was making an effort to eye them down the barrel every so often just so they knew we were thinking of their presence with us and trying to make them f...eel a part of the moment from afar! All done and dusted in about 5 minutes BAMMM What even just happened?!? Tiny weddings that pack a punch @angieoo_captures . . . . . . . . . See more

08.01.2022 Hanging at Erskine falls with my Irish mate Finbhar He & his lovely, now wife, Claire eloped to Australia because (fun fact) you arent allowed to be married outside in Ireland so to Australia they came.... These two love the outdoors and met thru scouts so being married in nature and going on an adventure made perfect sense for them. This pics an oldie but NT adventure pics to follow.... #erskinefallswedding @oddsockssociety

08.01.2022 These are my dear friends Jenny & Gabi, along with their sweet little one Axel. Youve seen them before when I performed their legal marriage in Australia last year. This week they had their Balinese wedding in Jennys village of Tianyar surrounded by their family from Bali, France, America and Australia. When I asked Jenny to explain the ceremony to me she said it was to tell Mother Nature and her ancestors that her family now includes Gabi, Axel & his family too. How beautiful is that!? And how AMAZING do they look! #balineseweddingceremony

06.01.2022 These cuties (& entirely lovable humans) are up on the @martinibride blog! AND its really worth a sneaky scroll, the pics by @love.and.other are next level - by gosh that dance floor was pumping #thesearethemoments

06.01.2022 Many years ago the beautiful Liz, on the left, told me if she ever got married she was going to dress up as Effie with really big hair and she wanted me to perform her ceremony. There's a bit of Effie in here but a whole lot more Liz, living her best life with her darl by her side! To stand with you and Georgia today truly was the biggest honour! These women are each other's equal in every way. Happy one year of marriage equality y'all. Love is rad #bemywife #justmarried #marriageequality

05.01.2022 Okay let's take a moment to acknowledge how gorgeous the new Mrs Mullett is! Elle designed this dress herself and her concept was brought to life by dressmaker @taniastokesdesigns using D'Italia fabrics. The dress was incredible and Elle looked like an otherworldly goddess in it. Albeit a fun, down to earth, giggly one who was loving life with her bestfriends (and new husband) by her side! Pic by the super lovely @danny.millo

04.01.2022 Shout out to this guy - Jimmy's over in W.A at the moment. He was invited to talk on a panel about sustainable ways to harvest tone woods for the Music Industry. This is us in Jim's natural habitat, the Otways, a place he has spent most of his life learning about, and loving, the entire ecosystem: he has been working here with his dad Murray since he was a kid. Like anyone who runs their own business he works really hard and is away a lot. In comparison to your average coup...le we don't see each other that much. And with me working weekends and him away half the week we can be ghosts to our mates. But we are really fortunate to both love what we do. I had a wedding this weekend so couldn't join him in W. A. So whilst he is over in Margaret River exploring the music scene, I've woken up in the van in Castlemaine. Lucky is an understatement. Anyway, he is pretty great. Proud of you Jim x See more

04.01.2022 Just two loved up people running around being playful on their wedding day. No doubt this was staged, but Zak & Erin would 100% do this any day of the week. Note that Erins dress is not only not white its also not even a dress. Jumpsuits are far easier to run a muck in. Ultimately, I think the message here is couples who wear linen together, stay together #doublelinen by my favourite Lucille Karenne Photography

04.01.2022 Oh my gosh, talk about a babe fest! Lucy and her gals killing it with their red earthy tones on the Murray River. #bridesbabes @teaganglenane @josuefilms created a sweet little vid you can check out on my website too

04.01.2022 The kids at weddings game is a good time, mostly cos it keeps you on your toes and helps to make the atmosphere a bit more real and relaxed. This mini and I became great mates fast, he is a confident social guy who likes to get amongst it. At one of our meetings he told the people on the table next to us that I was his sister! It was very flattering. On the day he knew something big was going on and he wanted to be amongst it. But I just couldnt let him photo bomb mum and dads first kiss as husband and wife, so I did the only thing that made him more front and centre - I gave him the mic to declare them married (def not what he said) but it was bloody adorable and felt like a win all round. #improvise #kidsatweddings pic by @caitlinmayweddings (mini shared with permission, pre Iso obvz)

02.01.2022 Weathering all the storms together... @tessfollett helping the super low key Eleanor & Juz feel comfortable in front of the camera. Hire her, shes good. Real good!

02.01.2022 One last big love filled shout out to all the people who made my time in Darwin so special. Thanks to @kgoldingkreations17 & Haydn for having me in your home. And @kate_leah_ren & @muelfred for your endless generousity. The awesome couples I worked with including @jmouldy & her beloved Richard (look at his face ) It was SO great to catch up with old mates from Vic who are now Territorians & to connect with great new people like @ceremonieswothceejay @taryn_hicks @twoseasonsco AND especially the epically talented @nicholetaylorphoto Who certainly knows how to capture the real & raw moments! #intimateweddings

01.01.2022 Rob is Maori. He wore a cloak made by his family throughout the ceremony. His mother presented his new wife with her own cloak during the signing to signify her official welcome in to their family. Rob's family them performed a Haka before we signed. You can't beat honouring cultural traditions in a ceremony, connecting to traditions that anchor you into your wider community and history hold true resonance. Photo beautifully captured by @tone_image
