08.01.2022 With ANZAC Day coming up, we wanted to share our delicious ANZAC Biscuit recipe :) - What youll need - 1 cup rolled Uncle Tobys oats 1 cup plain flour... 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar cup dessicated coconut 125g butter 2 tablespoons golden syrup 1 tablespoon water teaspoon bicarbonate of soda - How to - Preheat the oven to 160C. Grease two oven trays and line them with baking paper. Combine oats, flour, sugar and coconut. Stir butter, syrup and water in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth, then add the bicarbonate of soda. Stir wet mixture into dry mixture until well-combined. Spoon level teaspoons of the combined mixture onto baking trays, flattening slightly and leaving about three inches of space between each. 05.01.2022 "I attended the DiSC Workplace workshop with Zenith HR and Judy was the facilitator. I was dubious about attending and really wasnt sure what to expect. I liked that I didnt just sit there and look at a presentation. Judy is an excellent teacher and was able to keep everyone in the class involved and entertained all at a professional level. Judy has left a lasting impression on myself and my colleagues, who have benefited from her training. We were able to involve ourselves... with the other people who attended, and I was surprised at how quickly I was able to understand and accurately determine other styles of people that I had never met prior to this course. It was interactive and for me, I couldnt believe how accurate my report was. I have evolved as a person and I have learnt to interact better with other people at work. I knew I was loud and chatty person which I believed to be great trait, unknowingly, I didnt realise that this could adversely affect how people may perceive me. I can now understand how other people see me and how I can adapt my behaviour to get more out of my team. In my report it stated that I may be reluctant on giving negative feedback for fear of being seen as the bad guy. Which at first, I questioned, but after thinking about it and looking back on situations I have been involved in, I cannot believe at how accurate this is. This has helped evolve and changed me for the better. The DiSC workshop has helped me establish and create a better culture for my team in the workplace. 02.01.2022 I took this photo when I was in Sydney recently, delivering a tailored workshop to a team of leaders & managers from this manufacturing plant. This Supervisors Leadership Workshop involved both the blue and white collar managers at varying levels. The goal was to build the leaderships skills within in the team; we focused on performance management, confidentiality, EBA & Award interpretation, managing absenteeism, implementation of policies and Emotional Intelligence. ... The feedback from the group was excellent and they are now doing the work to action these skills in the workplace. I look forward to continuing to work with this team to further develop their leadership skills across the business.
